They did a great job. Roof looks great!!  They were professional, cleaned up after themselves, including using a magnet to clean up the nails and staples etc.  They started the job when they said they would,  and worked everyday until they finished.  They were professional and respectful.  I highly recommend them.

We hired a professional so that it would be done right.  According to the contract, they would scrape and prep everything.  This was not the case.  They power washed the outside and left a huge mess of flaked paint everywhere.  They did not scrape old paint at all.  They just painted over the top resulting in a horrible layered look.  It started peeling that same summer.  I called the owner.  He said he would come look at it but never did.  His people "fixed" spots by scraping some and painting over but they look terrible.  I called him again last summer as their painting job continued to peel and he never came.  I would never recommend this company.  They crew painted over plants.  They broke a window well cover.  I had to scrape over spray off of my basement windows.  DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!

Two painters 3 day to complete house and garage. Both painters were professional and diligent. Dave Putnam on site for 15 minutes to start job and 15 minutes at end of job.

I chose Putnam painting because I had seen some other houses painted by Putnam, and those places looked really nice.
Mr. Putnam was very prompt with the painting and roofing estimate. He was disappointed
that I chose his company to only paint the house, instead of new roof and painting, and he bargained a little louder, but
I had already decided on another company to replace the roof.
I was pleased with the exterior paint on my home. Each change of color was $150.00 more, but
he did tell me that up front. I chose white paint with grey trim. Mr. Putnam was helpful and patient while I chose colors. My next door neighbor also got an exterior painting estimate from Putnam, but he (my neighbor), felt
the estimate was too high. My neighbor did want at least three colors for exterior and trims.
The house looks very clean and sharp and I am pleased with the work. The old paint was quite faded. It took the crew about one day and a few hours the next day to do the painting. They used a paint sprayer for most of the job and brushes for the trim.

All work was completed as quoted in a timely manner, and afterwards everything was cleaned up very well.

Job went very well - they arrived early in the morning - set up and went to work. We are very pleased with the paint job - the colors are exactly what we wanted. But the paint is pulling away from the bare wood - there was no scraping nor any primer applied to the bare wood spots therefore nothing for the paint to grab onto. The estimate clearly states and quot;Scrape, Caulk, and prime as neededand quot;. We contacted Dave Putnam prior to the July 4th holiday explaining this issue. He called back and said that he was out of town for the holiday and would contact us when he got back. Two weeks ago he arrived at my husbands place of employment to fill up gas cans and said that he would get back with us - it is now the end of July and there has been no further contact regarding this. We just wish he would correct this small issue and we could call it a day...


Well it is a good day - work has been completed and repaired...looks wonderful! It did take some time to get done but he did do it. He asked my husband to have me update this posting which I am doing but I just wanted to take my time. I would use his services again as it turned out well in the long end.

Was a bit different in his approach to win the job. Was first very interested in the job and then appeared not to want the job. this was a bit akward and we hard a couple words but we both worked it out without a problem. The persons that did the work was a real nice person and considerate of the quality. they were punctual and did a good job. I plan to return to them for future work.

The job was done seemlessly. From the initial estimate to the finished job, I was extremely pleased. They contacted me regularly and performed the job in such a timely manner that it was actually done weeks ahead of what I had expected. The owner of the business and the workers were all very friendly and professional. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for an exterior paint job. I have also heard from others that they do a wonderful job on interior painting as well. I am going to get an estimate from them for a roofing job next spring.
