I told him I was skeptical giving him $4k and then have him come back with contract stating it would cost a big percent more. He assured me “he is not that kind of guy”. Then after the design and a smaller scope he wanted to charge us 30% more. Took our money and we now have to start over with a new contractor."

He removed the lights, bought bronze spray paint and painted the old lights which look like new. They would have had to be special ordered but that saved me a lot of money.
