"We called Nolan's to get a quote on Painting and to and schedule an 11x14 one bedroom painting job (no trim necessary) to get us moved into a new home. I told the receptionist we would be wanting more painting done and a color consult at a later date on the other rooms but needed this bedroom done before we schedule the movers to bring in the furniture. This particular room had a large and extremely heavy captains bed that needed to be disassembled to move so we wanted paint done before we brought that in.  We had the color picked out already so the job was quite easy.  The receptionist took our information and said she would call back and did so the following day and said that "Nolan doesn't service Spring City" (which is in Chester county and  on the border of Chester and Montgomery counties).  According to their Angie's List page and the map Nolan's say they serve "Montgomery, Chester, Delaware & a Portion of Philadelphia and Bucks Counties" and we live well within their service area even according to their map.  I think they just didn't want the job because it was small. We won't be calling them again when we want the rest of the house painted.

"Excellent. The entire experience exceeded my expectations. The salesman, Brendan, was very helpful and explained the entire process. He brought shingle samples for review. They have a references list of customers in your area that is extraordinary. You can go and see roofs that they have done. The quality of the work was superb. Each day they protected our landscaping and then cleaned up. The workers were very polite and careful. I have rarely seen men work so hard and with an obvious pride in their workmanship. Copper flashing at the chimneys is beautiful. We have a stucco chimney where the flashing cannot be seen from the ground. I watched them spend a lot of time doing the copper flashing where no one would see it. Quality workmanship, quality product. And follow up calls asking if we had any questions and where satisfied with the work. We also found that we needed some plywood sheets replaced. They showed us photos of the area and showed us the delaminated old plywood. No delay in adding the plywood sheets either. The new gutters are fabulous. And there are no seams, just one long piece for every roof area. Also bought leaf guards which are not visible from the ground. no more overflow of gutters."
