The techs showed up on time and we're very polite. We discussed my needs and they were able to complete the work successfully despite the heat. They did not cause any damage to anything and left the property in the same condition as when they arrived. The only reason I deducted a star is the vehicle they arrived in was not a branded company truck and appeared to be a personal pickup truck. Other than that the work was completed as expected within an acceptable timeframe, and is functioning as expected with no apparent leaks.

It works fine and wonderful. The attic is so hot they did not complain at all. They were on time . I could not ask for nicer group of people . I'm very pleased most especially with Bill.

Perfect. Bill and his partners did a great job, now receiving 102 channels. Beautiful job with the wiring and made sure I was satisfied. Highly recommended!

BEST MONEY EVER SPENT!! Bill came and installed an antenna on my roof. The company provided the antenna + installation for one price. I’m a cord cutter and having 6ABC has been important for me to watch Jeopardy and live events. Now I have crystal clear ABC along with sixty five other channels and no monthly fee. My smart tv even has a TV guide with program info. I would never have been able to do what Bill did, he is a true professional and had all the tools necessary to troubleshoot until I had on the air tv. Best decision ever.

Great. No problems at all. He even had better ideas than me about hiding the cord.

I am amending my review. Today, after 8 months, VIP technicians came out and reinstalled the antenna. They raised it 10' above the chimney, which was the original recommendation. They also added a ground wire, which the previous two installers did not run. In defense of the company, over-the-air TV reception in Philly is challenging unless you go with a raised antenna. The company is also having some business challenges in this COVID 19 era. The installers that came out this time, Bill and Christine, seemed to know what they were doing and did excellent work. They were very nice, explained everything and wanted to make sure my problems were resolved. I would ask for them by name. I do appreciate that the company did make three trips to my house and tried to resolve the problem. Could the process have been better? Sure. But some of this is out of their control as an increasingly crowded radio spectrum is making the reception of some channels (2 and 6 in Philly) difficult.

What started out as a nice experience has turned into a disaster. I spoke with Pat Cullis about an antenna install. He seemed to know his stuff and explained they would use an RCA antenna. I had sent them pictures of the site and Pat said he lived in the neighborhood. He said there would be no problem with reception. When the installer arrived, he said they could not mount the RCA antenna on a mast and instead mounted a smart compact antenna just above the roofline. The installer said if it didn't work they would fix it or change the antenna. After a few weeks of use, it was clear reception was not good. I am getting major dropouts and pixelation on all major channels. I emailed Pat Cullis and explained the problems in great detail. Pat has been extremely evasive. He has twice asked for a phone number to call me but has not called. After several months, they still have not resolved the problem. The antenna they installed is useless. While I do get reception of channels I didn't, such as ABC-6, I get dropouts on all channels. It makes watching live-action sports very unpleasant. An indoor antenna would be better. So the money spent on this was wasted. I don't know what is going on with this company, but they have been extremely unresponsive. Yes, TV reception in Philly is a problem. But that is why you hire an experienced professional. I doubt the company intends to fix my problems, so I am giving them the lowest score possible. I have had to send them many emails and they rarely respond. Unacceptable from an Angie's List company! I have also filed a BBB complaint.

When prepping for the job we discovered that I already had an antenna in my attic so a new one was not required. Existing wiring from attic to bedroom was used so no wiring was required. Since it ended up being a very easy job and new equipment was not required (except a transponder) I would have expected the price to be reduced more. They took off $77 but the price of the antenna on the quote was $129 so I would have expected the price to at least be reduced by that since it was not used. Phone communication was poor. Did not respond and voicemail box was always full. Many times I would get an email saying they would call but they didn’t. It took several follow ups to get a response. I think there was an opportunity to do the right thing and adjust the price based on the circumstances.

Initial message and phone call were both returned promptly. Service was completed two days from initial contact. Serviceman was friendly, helpful, and professional.

There were serious reception problems - after the initial antenna installation - but the company returned to address and ultimately correct these issues - without charges additional - and they provided a small refund for the initial difficulties.

I had a great experience with VIP Telecom. Pat gave me a quote the same day I called and was very informative about the installation process. Bill came out and installed the antenna, and ran the cable inside to my Tablo device. Very clean and professional job. Now I have great reception and a ton of channels.

VIP came right out the same day I called. Roofers had bent and moved my antenna. They explained what they were going to do before and explain in detail what was done afterward! They were courteous and although it was getting late, they did not rush through the job. The cost was reasonable - so reasonable in fact I did not ask for the senior discount that they offer. When I purchase a new antenna, I will call them again!!!!!

Pat's worker arrived early and starting working right away. He needed to readjust them antenna so that it was in the right direction, add 10' extension to clear the trees that were blocking the signals and made sure that my TV was receiving a clear message on all available channels. I have over 50+ clear, free network channels. Thank you.

These two gentlemen are of a rare breed. They're all about customer satisfaction with a big dose of integrity. A rare quality these days. They are extremely professional and do a great job.......as an example....my antenna needed tweaking a few days after the install as some channels weren't coming in as good as others.I called Patrick and explained the situation. He and Aramis were back the following day and fixed the problem...no muss no fuss...I would highly recommend VIP Telecom to anyone. Two thumbs way up....

This was a great experience, unlike dealing with my cable TV supplier. I've been working toward a Broadband-only solution for my home and cutting cable television was the final hurdle. I tried to schedule the termination of cable TV for 1 1/2 weeks out, but my "supplier" cut me off entirely including internet within hours. A terrible experience. I found VIP Telecom LLC on Angie's List and gave them a call. I explained my situation and had a lengthy chat with Mr. Cullis (President) voicing my concerns about what was critical to me. He answered every question in a factual no-nonsense manner and offered to come out to my house the very next day and set me up with an antenna because of my circumstances. Where I live in the northern Philadelphia burbs, WPVI 6 and WHYY 12 are a challenge to bring in reliably. Mr. Cullis assured me that he would have a workable solution for me on his truck and that by the time he was finished I would have what I need. He was true to his word. After checking on a few things, he and his assistant went to work. Within two and a half hours I had beautiful over-the-air digital high definition TV with about 45 channels. I had been paying my cable provider for low-definition throttled broadcasts for years. He worked cleanly and quickly and I am thrilled with the result. He assured me that if I have any trouble or need an adjustment, he would perform that service for free. Incidentally, I split off a cable to my FM stereo and also get "gangbusters" reception there as well. WXPN comes in great. I had always had reception problems previously.

I called VIP to get an estimate on having my HD antenna looked at since my signal had begun to deteriorate. Within 20 minutes of my call, Patrick called me back. We spoke for about 15-20 minutes going over what was happening and he explained what the possible causes of the issue might be. I decided to schedule them to come out and, to my surprise and delight, they were able to be at my home in an hour! They arrived, got right to work, repointed my antenna, installed a new amplifier, explained the entire process and I couldn't have been happier with the result. I can't say enough about their prompt response, courteousness, professionalism, and service and will highly recommend them to anyone looking for this type of service.

I was sick of Comcast and decided to dump them. Called VIP and they installed a digital antenna on our roof and tied in to the existing cable lines to all of our televisions. We now get better reception and sound then Comcast as the individual stations transmit in digital while Comcast converts those signals back to analog, thus the need for the cable box. Now we receive more stations than Comcast basic and only need one remote to watch tv, and no more cable box. I should have done this years ago. I recommend VIP to everyone.
