"Mad City did a fantastic job. They removed my old bathtub and tile and installed a beautiful bath surround. I chose Arctic Ice for the pattern. It is beautiful. Love the practicality of the easy-to-clean surface. The faucet and grab bars are attractive, too. I got the metal shelves, which I like a lot. Highly recommend!"

"I am so thankful that I found Brodys Services! My toilet wasnt flushing good & little moths were appearing from the drain. I had 2 plumbing companies come and each one had a different opinion and quoted high prices. My third estimate was by Brody. He was a good listener & very polite. He tested my plumbing and found the problem was a cracked pipe under the toilet. He had to jackhammer the floor, fix the pipe and re-cement the floor. He put plastic on the door ad kept the dust contained and cleaned everything when he was done. I was so pleased with his work and affordable prices, I decided to do a remodel of the bathroom. He removed my tub and installed a large shower, new vanity, toilet, and floor. It looks wonderful! He worked according to my schedule, gave me his expert opinion, and cleaned up daily. I am so happy with the results & his price. I would definitely be using his services again!"

"The overall sunroom is beautiful and the work was done timely and during extreme weather, which is commendable. I should note that we had to call several times to ask if we were on their schedule as they didn't communicate well. We had several issues with installation quality. The gutters were not properly installed (old gutters not tied into new room), so there was poor drainage. Even after we had them back, they were not properly fixed/sealed and are still leaking. The installers closed in a bulk head prior to communication with the electricians which caused an actual fight between them as they were working. They didn't put the microwave vent back through the roof. They did give us a credit so we could have our contractor complete, but that was only after we complained. Absolutely zero clean up upon completion. The windows were filthy, sliding groves full of dirt etc from drilling.
As I said, the room is beautiful, but for the money we spent and as a well known, reputable company, I would have expected more seasoned and professional installer and better overall customer service.

"We have a 12' x 24' deck. Having the largest aluminum pergola installed made our deck a comfortable area for the family. It opens and closes with the touch of a button. We let the rain wash it. It is one of the best investments we have made for the house. We have had it about 5 years and no problems. Jimmy in Clarksville PA"

"They are straight forward, and things are custom made. So, nothing is pieced together from stuff from a hardware store. The people are kind and up front and I have already recommended them to family members."

The average cost of installing tile is around $2,000, ranging between $400 and $6,500, depending on the type of tile, square footage of tile, and whether or not your tiling contractor performs site preparation, like removing old tile. On average, you can expect to pay between $5 and $45 per square foot, largely depending on the type and quality of the tiles you choose. For example, ceramic and travertine tile cost about $1 per square foot, but luxury tile options like marble cost up to $350 per square foot, not including labor.
The cost of home remodeling is $50,000 for the average homeowner. However, this cost can range anywhere from $3,000 for a small project to $170,000 for a whole home remodel. Factors like project size, location, and room type all affect your overall cost. For example, bedroom remodeling costs are one of the least expensive projects, costing about $1,500 to $5,500 per bedroom. However, a kitchen remodel has a significant cost range, totaling anywhere from $14,500 to over $70,000.
Yes, most states require home remodeling contractors to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed home remodeling contractor could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.

Required to have applicable state and local licenses

Tile will almost always last longer than laminate flooring, regardless of the type of tile installed. Porcelain tile can last for 75 years or more with proper care, and even less durable ceramic tile will last for 60 years or more, provided they’re installed by a tile professional. On the other hand, laminate flooring has an average lifespan of around 20 years, and you might only get 10 to 15 years out of low-cost laminate flooring. As such, tile will add far more value to your home than laminate.
The cost to install countertops is $3,105 on average. This project cost can range from $400 to $8,500, depending on the material, edging, and countertop size.
Laminate countertops are generally the most cost-efficient, ranging from $8 to $27 per square foot. On the other hand, slate countertops are considered more luxurious and range from $30 to $90 per square foot. There are also countertop materials priced between those two, including stainless steel, granite, Corian, and wood.
