"A Cut Above many other Contractors! We had needed brick pointing done on our home for a few years. We are also in the middle of a renovation project for our game room and that included the installation of a sliding glass door where a window was. The door install required that a steel lintel be moved up to accommodate the height of the new door. We were very fortunate that we called Michener Chimney and Masonry to come and have a look. They came out in a timely fashion and gave their estimate to us in just a few days. Once we agreed to get the work done, Jim and his team from Michener began the work quickly. They were professional and friendly and did a wonderful job on all of the aspects of the project. Communication with them was easy, clear and accurate. This was a big job that took ~7 weeks to complete. The cost - given the size of the job - was reasonable and fair, and Clarke was very flexible with scheduling the work; he kept me up to date on the status of the project before the work started and during the job itself with at least weekly calls. "Duane called within 24 hours of my initial contact and showed up to look at my wall that day. He was upfront and honest in his appraisal. He removed a 50 foot long, 4 1/2 ft tall retaining wall that is 100 years old and had started to lean and fail. He completely removed the wall over a period of several days. He cleaned up the remnants every day and kept the sidewalk clear throughout the job. At the same time he retained my existing stone steps and repaired and reset the existing stone parapets abutting the steps. Duane did a beautiful job and I will use him in the future. He has an admirable work ethic and is refreshingly reliable."

"This is the second time I’ve used Advanced for my basement waterproofing needs and they were again fantastic. Work was done well and it was easy to schedule. They are low pressure so if you have a project and just need to get an opinion, reach out to them. Chris is great and very attentive and helpful. Both of my waterproofing jobs still cost less the the initial job from one of the big companies, so I was really pleased with their work and price. They did a nice job cleaning up (but concrete dust gets everywhere so I still have work to do). Highly recommend!!!! The bricks and cement at top of the were deteriorated. The next day, he visited my house and gave me a verbal estimate. I accepted his offer. The following day, he arrived on time and restored the chimney. The workmanship was excellent, and he cleaned up the work area.
