"We dealt with the owner by phone, describing the plaster repairs we wanted to have made.  On the appointed day, employee arrived and declared the main repair item--filling a gap between the edge of one wall and and an adjoining brick wall--as  not eligible under the terms of the deal.  When I protested, he consulted with the owner, who agreed with him and then told me so in a very disagreeable manner.  The plasterer subsequently spent less than two of the promised four hours on smoothing out uneven areas in the ceiling.  Another plasterer I hired subsequently had no problem dealing with the repair.
