Brian and his team were so responsive and prompt ! They were always very clear and honest in their communication on what to expect, and on time. The work they performed transformed my whole space. They properly closed off the area to ensure dust did not wildly spread. When the job was finished they did a great job cleaning up. Highly recommend !

Brian had done drywall work in my garage a year earlier. I needed more work after I had some piping replaced. His team came in and got the job done in a reasonable amount of time and for a fair price. The garage was left clean and tidy and the overall appearance of the work done was satisfactory. I would hire Brian and his team again in the future.

Brian and his team did a great job! He came the next day after I called him to give me an estimate and started the day after. Definitely will call him again if I ever need any more work done.

Brian Kalanish is an excellent plasterer. We have used him before and his work still looks great years later. This time, as before, he did an excellent job. He is nice, easy to communicate with, and his prices are reasonable. I would hire him again and I recommend him.

Very pleased with quality and professionalism

On March 4th. I selected Brian after a two foot crack appeared in my living room ceiling. On March 5th, eleven feet of the ceiling collapsed. I called Brian immediately. He completed the work yesterday March 18th. The job took about six hours including minor repairs in the kitchen and bedroom. I am very pleased with the quality and detail of the work. They took care to minimize dust and debris and sealed and protected the work areas. Brian, Brandon and Ed were a pleasure to work with.

They were professional, did a beautiful job, and put a decorative finish on that I loved so much I had them come back and do the rest of my ceilings! Very nice, did everything perfectly and I just want to turn off the tv and stare at my ceilings.

Brian and his crew were flexible and did a fantastic job. You can’t tell the old upper wall from the new bottom wall. I would use him again.

It couldn't have gone better! They were extremely skilled and were able to make all of the demolition look as though it never happened. They worked fast. Communicating with Brian and Brandon was easy. They were flexible working with other contractors in the house. I would hire them in a heartbeat!

Our plastered ceiling was ready to fall in. We contacted Kalanish Plastering and Drywall and Brian came to our house the same day to look at the ceiling and issue us a quote. The same week, Brian and Scott started work on our ceiling. Scott even worked through the weekend so that our family didn't have to wait over the weekend without a ceiling in our living room. They did an impeccable job and the customer service was top-notch. We sincerely appreciate how quickly they responded to our inquiry and fit us into their schedule. They really surpassed all of our expectations; I so very highly recommend them to anyone who has plastering needs.

I called for a quote and Brian came out to bid the job, the bid seemed reasonable so I scheduled the work.
The two man crew showed up as scheduled and found that there were two layers of plaster so there was extra work and trash to be removed. They also found that I had a slow dripping leak in my bathtub trap that was not enough to show through two layers of plaster but it had to get repaired before they could rehang the ceiling. After the plumbing was repaired I rescheduled the crew, they showed up and did a very good finish on the new plaster.
Brian showed up the following day to remove the trash, look at the work, and settle up. Brian stuck to his estimate despite being delayed by the plumbing work and the surprise of the additional ceiling material.
I really appreciate Brian standing by his quote because that seems to be increasingly rare.

I was definitely satisfied with my overall experience. Most importantly, I think they did a great job.

It went very well. I am extremely pleased with the result. My house was built in 1950 using traditional plaster that is swirled on the cielings and both swirled and textured on the walls. But, because some windows had not been installed or maintained correctly, I had plaster damage around almost every window -- some of it quite severe (down to the metal screen behind the plaster). George did most of the prep work and the cleanup and Scooter did most of the plastering and he was both very meticulous and very talented in matching the patterns -- which were actually different in each room. I had been hoping for a good and professional job but I was amazed and very grateful that he did such an excellent job. He matched the patterns exactly to the surrounding area reagardless of how that looked. Basically, there is no difference between how the walls look now and how they looked when my parents built the place 60 years ago. But, even though the repairs were done perfectly and he knew that they were, Scooter specifically asked me to look at each spot and let him know if I wanted anything done differently (whcih I didn't); They then cleaned up so you couldn't even tell that they were there (actually the place is probably cleaner now than it was when they arrived!). They were all right and the job was okay. They cleaned up some and picked up all the big stuff. It was dusty and I had to finish the cleanup. They didn't do the best; they didn't connect the smooth plaster at the top like the bottom. We had to fill it in. The price was okay. We would have liked it to be smooth plaster and they should have put smooth plaster around the bottom. It wasn't bad because we've had worse. They didn't finish around the edges. They were a little late; they were supposed to show up in the morning and they didn't come until the evening around 5 pm. He had five or six men with him and they were done in two hours. It may have taken them longer on another job.

They were great. They were clean, timely and punctual. They showed up when they said they would and they cleaned up after themselves. They did what they said they were going to do.

We were satisfied with the plastering. We will probably have to contact them again because of damage caused to some other plastering by all of the snow.

It worked out well. They were on time and did good work. They came at the price they quoted me. They cleaned up very well after the work was done.
