"Job Overview: Installed AC unit in house attic to cool the upstairs unit (2nd floor) of a duplex. Overall Feedback: This is the second time I have used Wade Heating and Cooling and will continue to use them in the future. Felt like they treated me as part of the “Wade” family. Felt very comfortable with the process from beginning to end which was awesome since this being such a large financial investment. Crew Feedback: If you get the opportunity to choose your crew I would highly recommend Brian and Russ as installers for the job. This is the second time I had Brian as the main installer and he is absolutely terrific. Very detailed and takes the time to walk you through what they are planning to do to ensure you are comfortable and then execute based on your preferences (if they might be slightly different). This was my first time with Russ but he was very professional as well and thought he did a great job as well. Product Feedback: Wade is a “certified installer” of Carrier product and although more expensive than getting a Rheem/Rhud system I have enjoyed the quality and conditioning power of a Carrier system."

"Within 5 minutes told me I needed 2 wires replaced on my AC and it would cost $175. I then asked to see the wires and told him my husband could replace them and I would just pay service charge. He became intense telling me t hat if he had to come back he would have to charge me mileage because he did not realize how far it was and then stated Home Advisor should not of given him the lead because of the distance. He also suggested me to replace the whole AC system for $3,500, because the $2,200 job won't come with warranty whereas the $3,500 job come with 5 years warranty. I told him that I would have to think about it. So he charged me $110 and left. 
I called some AC companies and tried to get the best quote for replacing the compressor. One company came back with $1,700 so I decided to go with them. They came and checked the system again. The technician said the compressor is good and he fixed up AC with new fan and breaker. The total cost was $267. He even said: " some other company will say you need a new compressor or new ac, but you really don't. That's why we always check it AGAIN before we putting in the new system."
