After I described the situation to him, he very honestly told me that the problem was not likely ground water coming in and that I most likely did not need his company's service. He was correct. "G&J Waterproofing did a great job on our basement. The work involved taking up the old floor, installing an interior drain on all exterior walls, sump pump, Polyshield on the walls, membrane and pouring a new cement floor. The work was further complicated when the workers discovered our sewer pipe was not properly connected. This involved bring in a plumber to lay a new sewer pipe. The house was built in 1917, so things were very old downstairs. The whole process took longer since the sewer work took a week. Everything is complete now. The workers are great; this is extremely hot and hard work. Everything was cleaned up and my nitpicky fixes made. Communication behind the homeowner, workers and management needs to be improved upon. There was a lot of work to be done and guidance from the company was appreciated. Katy and Rich were very helpful."

"Outstanding job by H&R in the waterproofing my basement on February 16. It was Providence as 10 days later a water line in front of my house burst sending thousands of gallons of water cascading toward my house and against the walls of the basement that were waterproofed. The internal french drain and sump pump performed as described by H&R and my basement stayed dry as a bone. We would definitely recommend this business.
