"While our basement came out good, there were several extra costs that our PM John came up with that we feel could have been included prior to the work beginning in the contract or in the extras section of the contract. Things like stair replacement, trying to get us to install 2 sump pumps + a second electric panel. Regarding the pumps, the plumber actually recommended against the 2 pumps as he was able to connect all of our window wells to a single pump, also eliminating the need for a second panel. They also installed low quality hi-hats as our lights continue to flicker and pretty much told us that it?s normal and nothing can be done. Lastly, the workers left our unfinished area a mess at the end of the project- leftover debris and our furnace a water heater were left covered in dust. If you don?t mind feeling price gauged and having your concerns not taken seriously, this is the company for you. "

"Don (and his team) did an A+ job for us professionally and more importantly, my family (including children) now consider Don a friend of ours. Don stopped by our house more than twice during the proposal/bidding phase during the summer of 2020. We chose to move forward with Don because of (i) the manner in which Don presented himself was very comforting to us, (ii) he was extremely knowledgeable with the work that was going to be done and (iii) he was happy to answer all of our questions both basic and complex. Don walked us through the process of purchasing materials by directing us to certain qualified vendors as well as providing advice on design elements based on his extensive experience. Don kept the work project within his estimated time-frame of four-weeks. Throughout the project, Don and his team showed up promptly each day at 7.30 am and worked straight through the afternoon. Don and his team were respectful, accommodating and focused on the project. There were three unforeseen complexities identified during the project in which Don clearly explained the situation, suggested several options for a solution and ultimately overcame the complexities. Incredibly, Don even stopped by a number of months after the project was complete to make sure we were fully satisfied with our new kitchen and flooring throughout the entire first floor. Don is extremely detailed and truly is a master of his many crafts. We are so happy we found Don and will absolutely call him for our next project. "Unsatisfied with final results of retaining wall project. Documentation to support my experience. When asked why his quote was lower than others, owner reply the larger companies use blocks from quarry. Ok with blocks from Lowes, 2 days completion, but still expected quality work. Subcontractors excellent job on demo and work on front wall. 3rd day, owner solely completed side wall to driveway. Contractors should have finished the job. I was not ok with the side wall design being lower than the lawn. Owner Stephen Q. was verbal aggressive when I asked him to fix it. Neighbors came out. He threaten to remove the wall. Owner explain- property on slope, pay him. Cashiers checks written to owner and not in company's name ($1,900 and $2,200) per owner's request. To fix the misaligned side wall cost est. $2,200 per another contractor. Waiting for est. to fix lawn. Photos taken at a distance are deceiving. Must review up close. Photos attached. Older woman just trying to update my home."
