Technician made some decent recommendations and pointed out a few issues with the system. He pulled a bunch of lint out of our dryer vent so I'm looking forward to a more efficient dryer as well. "I got halfway through a job installing my own Google Nest Thermostat when I hit a snag with it not getting power. I checked every option the internet could tell me and luckily I was able to find Jack and Phillips Heating & Air Conditioning. Jack swung by and helped me troubleshoot the issue, noting things to remember (for me a first time homeowner) and things that may not have been done "normally" like wire colors and where they go to. Overall it took us about an hour of working through the issue, but we found that I... genius that I am... didn't shut off the HVAC directly so I blew a fuse while installing the unit. One quick fuse exchange later, I am up and running and will be bragging to my loved ones how I (me myself, with no help of anyone else) installed the Nest unit all on my own. Overall Feedback: This is the second time I have used Wade Heating and Cooling and will continue to use them in the future. Felt like they treated me as part of the “Wade” family. Felt very comfortable with the process from beginning to end which was awesome since this being such a large financial investment. Crew Feedback: If you get the opportunity to choose your crew I would highly recommend Brian and Russ as installers for the job. This is the second time I had Brian as the main installer and he is absolutely terrific. Very detailed and takes the time to walk you through what they are planning to do to ensure you are comfortable and then execute based on your preferences (if they might be slightly different). This was my first time with Russ but he was very professional as well and thought he did a great job as well. "Project information: I have an old house with radiant heat. I wanted to keep the radiators so I had the air handler installed in the attic and used some closet space on the 2nd floor for piping down from the attic to the 1st floor. From the first phone call with Jason, the owner, I had a feeling he was the right guy for the job. Upon the initial proposal visit, Jason was the most thorough with his scoping out the house and planning out the layout for install. He was also the most knowledgeable, and asked me questions I hadn’t even thought of yet. From start to finish, Jason was responsive, professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly made me feel at ease that he would make sure the job was done well and to my liking. Pricing was very reasonable. The install went great. It took 4 full days. After the install, Jason even helped direct me on getting the rebate offered through Duquesne Light, which was $250. I’m very happy with my air conditioning and enjoyed a nice cool house this summer. I enthusiastically recommend using Kowalski.show more
