Excellent service , they just made a mistake with putting hose through the window and broke the trim piece , they were prompt together back to me and are working on a solution to repair the damage , but did a great job explaining , caring for , and making sure everything was put back in place , will hire again regardless of the mishap

Very misleading business practices. We moved into a new home and needed a chimney cleaned and fully inspected. We made this very clear when we called to set up an appointment and were told that they would take care of us. Half way through the cleaning, I asked the technician to show me how to use the gas fireplace when he was done with the inspection. He told me that they do not do inspections, only the cleaning. It was too late to cancel as he was almost all the way done. We would not have went with the company if we were told they don’t to a thorough inspection. The company web site says they do an inspection, and I guess if you count just a visual inspection then fine, but the difference in levels of inspection was not explained to us when we made an appointment. When we called and talked to the company after the service, we were told that they only do a visual inspection. No cameras up the chimney, only what they could see, which is classified as only a level one inspection (this was not explained when booking the service). Again, we made it clear when we contracted out with them to do the work on what we wanted. So now we have to have another company come out and fully inspect the chimney. I do not recommend using this company nor will I be sending anyone their way.

"We would like to apologize for any misunderstanding in regards to what our chimney service includes, and for any inconvenience that this may have caused you. Our chimney service does include a full system cleaning, and an inspection. There are three different levels of chimney inspections. We offer a level one visual inspection; this is the basic level of inspection, which is done by the human eye, not a camera. At this level, the readily accessible portions of both the interior and exterior of the chimney system are examined. While doing the cleaning, our technician is looking everything over, and if they see anything abnormal, not working properly, or anything that they feel they should bring to your attention, they will discuss this at the end of the service. A level one inspection is not thorough enough to determine whether a chimney/ fireplace is safe to burn in or not. Level two and three inspections are much more thorough, because a camera is running up and down the entire length of the flue; the camera is capable of seeing beyond what the human eye can see. In most cases, a cleaning and level one inspection are sufficient. People typically only get higher level inspections when some type of disaster or loss has occurred, which could affect the integrity of the chimney system. As the technician mentioned, we do not test, install, or repair any gas fireplace components; we strictly specialize in cleaning. At Air Duct Maintenance, we try to be very clear when describing what our service includes. If our service is not the most appropriate solution for a customer, we have a variety of other companies that we regularly refer customers to, if it better fits their needs. Once again, I do apologize for the confusion with what our chimney inspection can provide. We never intended for this to be misleading in any way. I am very happy to hear that the cleaning went well for you. It is our hope that you will consider our company again in the future. Thank you for your business!"

I was very impressed with Jeremiah who came to clean my dryer vent. My granddaughter was napping at the time so he was very considerate of that. He was in and out of the house several times but always stopped to put on shoe covers. He explained what he was doing and told me how much 'stuff' he removed. I was impressed with the company right from my first phone call to make the appt. to the completion of the job. I definitely will use them again and recommend them to friends and neighbors.

Service appointment was as scheduled, I was called advising that service man was en route and service was rendered as described. We were very satisfied. Service provided, two chimneys cleaned, two stainless steel caps were purchased and installed and dryer vent was cleaned.

There's nothing like having a job done right! The serviceman knew what he was doing, he used the best equipment that was in good shape, and he explained thoroughly what he was doing. I was quite impressed with the service. The dryer is really pushing air out now. That clogged flue vent was a frightening situation.

From my initial phone conversation during the quote process to the day the technicians arrived everyone was extremely knowledgeable of this line of business. Pricing was inline if not better than competitors and I enjoyed that it was up-front pricing with no hidden fees.Quality was also really good and can feel the difference before to after. I do have two pieces of feedback I hope are implemented. First, the technicians should outline the work they are going to do. This was my first time getting my ducts cleaned and was a bit surprised when I walked downstairs and there were massive holes in the duct work. Again, it has to happen but having someone walk you through what they are going to do would have been appreciated. Second, I hope that corporate will provide booties/foot protection to the technicians. It was rainy/muddy when they came and unfortunately mud was tracked on my floors. This is something that could be easily avoided if the technicians were provided foot protection. At the end of the day though, would highly recommend this company and will be contacting them again if I have future need for duct cleaning work.

These guys are great! They came over, measured for the chimney cap, had a custom one fabricated, and showed up and installed it quickly, cleanly and on schedule! Absolutely would not hesitate to hire them again.
