"The two gentlemen that showed up the few days to complete the project were incredible. They were very pleasant to deal with and even made an effort to keep the noise level down as much as they could, given we had a newborn in the house at the time. They brought me in at each phase to keep me updated as to how things were going and if they had any questions/concerns. They were also well-versed in keeping the resulting mess from demo and such to a minimal, which is saying something, given the bathroom was on my 2nd floor and they essentially had to walk the length of the house twice, between the 1st and 2nd floors to get to/from. The end result was nothing short of incredible. My only regret is that I must not have been clear enough with the guy who came out to give the estimate, take photos, and such, as my old wall sconces and mirror remain...and it would've been a nicety to have an overhead light in the new shower. Aside from that, I would say that while the end result is quite nice, the cost was much higher than anticipated. It was over $20k for the bathroom job, for an area roughly 5'x10' and granted the fixtures and countertop are very nice, it's still surprising. I base that on the fact that our kitchen was also remodeled around the same time. That is a space of around 12'x20' and we had all new plumbing, new cabinets, new flooring, and new lighting placed....at a cost just over $10k. So, just be prepared. Kitchens and bathrooms are the most expensive as is the common knowledge, but I was expecting the costs for my reno jobs to be swapped. I can still solidly recommend Rebath. Just be prepared for a potentially larger bill than you're expecting."

"I supposedly won their contest at the State College Home Show 2022 for $1200 certificate. Rep came out and knew nothing about giving me the prize I won. Should have seen this as red flag. Window and entry door replaced anyway. Like the window. BUT, the door has major air draft coming in down the side and across the bottom. Have been calling repeatedly for 2 months leaving multiple messages- no return call since back in October. Company sent me letter 11/30 and called me that evening trying to get me to hire them to do more work. Assured me they would send someone to correct problem with initial work. Still have not received phone call or service visit from anyone in this company. Don't enter their contests at Home shows- I think they use this as way to get into your home to sell you their company when you haven't really won anything. and don't hire them to do any work. They will not fix any problems!!"

"Very high pressure sales. For your own sake have cameras rolling during sales pitch. Don’t let them make you believe that the installation is done by Erie. Totally subcontracted. Talked us into choosing them even though they were 7k higher than other roofers with the promise of higher quality service that didn’t happen, job site was a mess had to inspect gutters they were not cleaned. They came back out cleaned said it was done got back up on ladder gutters still full and found damaged siding on back of chimney. After filling with BBB repairs and cleanup were done just not worth the higher price. Price started at $26 a square for metal and $15. For fiberglass after 4 hours of sales it came down to $21 metal and $10.5 a square foot fiberglass. I surely have buyers remorse hopefully this review helps someone in their decision. Also suggest reading this [*** Link removed ***] prior to reading all the A+ ratings on BBB Also make sure proper permits were pulled they did not pull one till after the install when I questioned it. "We unfortunately had a horrible experience with Empire Today Philly. From our first appointment the sales associate, Nizar Alwarasneh, could not answer any questions about how the hardwood floors were finished or how the installation process would work. He was more interested in giving me a big show of on how he could get me such a "great" price than listening to me. Because of this, he assured me the hardwood could be installed on concrete slab. It cannot but he either did not know or did not listen to the question. Our installers showed up a week later and knew immediately it was not possible to install in our house. After 4 calls and hours on the phone with Customer Service, I was assured a manager, Edwin Maldonado, would call me within 24 hours to assign me a new sales associate and to help correct the mistake. When I had not heard from him 24 hours later, I called Customer Service again only to learn that Nizar is the only sales associate in my region and that Edwin would likely take 3 days to get back to me. Within the next 3 days I called Edwin 4 times and left 2 voicemails. I still have never heard back from him. I called Customer Service again and they again assured me a new manager, Michael Onorato, would call back within 24 hours. I have never heard from him either despite calling and leaving voicemails. Against my better judgement, I had a second appointment with Nizar. It was clear to me immediately that he did not tolerate being questioned at all. I don't know if it was embarrassment over his mistake or what but he was incredibly rude. He loudly yelled at me, saying I should respect him because he is older than I am when I asked him to explain how he was coming up with the pricing, which was completely arbitrary. He also could not explain the difference between engineered hardwood and solid hardwood - he called a manager, Shawn Wilkinson, to help. By the end of the call, Shawn was supposed to call me back within 24 hours. I never received a call. When we finally decided to cancel, Customer Service told me they would submit the request and one of the managers (Edwin, Shawn, or Michael) would call in 1-3 business days to talk through options. I had zero confidence I would hear back so thankfully Customer Service expedited my cancellation. I should receive a refund within 3-5 business days... Subsequently have spoken to other Empire Today Philly customers who reiterated a similar experience, particularly the sleazy car sales person approach to the initial sales associate assessment. Absolutely would not recommend and will posting this review through multiple outlets."
