After turning on the washing machine, I walked out for a moment, and then when I came back in water was dripping from the ceiling exhaust fan onto the washing machine. We have a two story house and they ran the hot water plumbing from the water heater in the garage through the laundry room ceiling. I removed the exhaust fan and could see water dripping from a tee way back beyond reach. The water hammer from the washer likely caused the fitting to start leaking. I turned the house water supply off and sent a message to Simpson plumbing through Angie's list. A lady from Simpson plumbing contacted me right away the next morning. She was courteous, but was having a hard time understanding what the problem was. Maybe I was giving too much information or something, but when the plumbers arrived later that afternoon they didn't understand what was going on. I ran through what happened again and showed them the wet spot on the ceiling. They had to cut an opening in the ceiling and we turned the water on and confirmed the leak. We moved my washing machine out of their way and they cut out the CPVC tee and replaced it with PEX. The piping was brittle so it took him a couple of attempts to get a straight cut which is why I called them to mess with it. After installing the PEX tee, we were leak free and at my request they provided a reference for the drywall repair. He also advised getting some water hammer arrestors installed on the supply lines to the washing machine to stop the water hammer, which I have since done."

"Walt assessed the condition of a toilet and determined it would need to be replaced (as I had expected).  He and Tammy went to Home Depot and picked up a toilet (the price of the toilet is not included in the above), which was a huge help.  While Walt removed the old toilet and installed the new, Tammy worked to remove old caulking and recaulk the bathtub.  They took the old toilet and the box for the new toilet with them, leaving me with a renewed bathroom and no mess.

"Advised there would be a hole in the wall that I would need to repair after replacing and installation. Wish I would have known that prior. Not sure if that is my negligence? Had to run to store as did not have all parts to finish. Advised I would get charged for that? Have not seen the bill for it however so maybe they realized it was their issue. All in all it was quick and we have a functional water faucet.

"After inspecting our foundation earlier, Q determined that we needed a sump pump (which we suspected). His quote was reasonable compared to others we had heard about, so we went ahead with it.
His team of three guys worked hard for two days digging drainage trenches and installing the pump in a couple of feet of standing water. We then had to wait about a week for the water to pump out and to dry out so a new vapor barrier and gravel could be added. This was done during a cold winter where it took longer for the area to thaw and dry out so the delay was kind of a bummer, but not at all Ethereal's fault.
When they returned, they were able to finish up in one day (so three days of work total) and cleaned up after themselves very well. The guys were pleasant and happy to answer questions during the work and Q was careful to follow up and check on the work. All in all a great group to work with as long as you're realistic about the work necessary and time involved."

"Overall, the project went very well. Mark was great to work with - he totally got the vision for the bathroom update. The work involved moving plumbing, moving electrical, replacing a window, replacing the tub, retiling the shower, retiling the floor, putting up drywall, installing a new countertop Travis is a wizard with a tile saw, and I must say that the quality and workmanship; is unmatched. While the bulk of the work was being performed, Mark & Travis were right on point - it was great to see progress being made every day. They were also totally respectful of the living space and in general, great guys. If there's a sour note in this symphony, it's that the last 5% of the job (installing the window, minor finishing touches) took about as long to complete - 4-5 weeks - as the major work did. The project started in July 2015 and wrapped up in early October, though the bathroom was totally functional (i.e. 95% done) by Labor Day. After Labor Day it was difficult to get in contact with Mark and schedule the final work; a situation in which I think any customer/contractor might find themselves in at the end of a project, as I imagine he had other jobs to ramp up and manage during that time."

We got three bids and there price was in the middle. They told us the job would take three weeks and it took a little over two! They explained the schedule with us at the contract signing and stuck to it. There was some one at our house every day,and they worked at least 8 hours a day. They were very clean. They built custom cabinets, installed a granite counter with undermount sink, and put a stone floor in. Our kitchen looks very custom! We love it and would recommend them to anyone!

"I found them a very delightful human being. The installation went well except the plunger which didn't work. They assured me that there were coming back to fix that, but they haven't been back yet. I had them booked for the next job. They did such a great work that my daughter is interested to hire them. I would definitely highly recommend them to anybody. They were fast and efficient. They did a terrific work. I enjoyed having them here. I certainly would not have anybody else come in their place. They have a lifetime customer as long as they come back to fix the plunger. The price is a bit higher than the other quotes that I had, but I would rather pay more and have it done correctly."
