There are several signs that your well pump’s pressure switch isn’t working as it should. For instance, if your pump runs continuously, produces weak water pressure, or doesn’t turn on at all, you may have a bad switch. Once this is done, replace the switch cover. All that’s left is to adjust the pressure of the tank itself using an air compressor and a tire gauge to support the new setting.

Signs include cracking or visible damage, leaking from the pump, a pump that won’t turn on, and loud noises coming from your pump.
