Milwaukie has a new policy for obtaining tree removal permits on private properties – one of the strictest around. Arregreen Tree Solutions worked patiently with the City, going back and forth between communications and amendments, as well as updating me of the permit status and the process along the way. When we finally got the green light, Arregreen Tree Solutions was able to immediately start on the project. The crew was efficient and thorough, and made sure there was no damage nor mess to the property, at every step of the way – even during stump grinding! "Excellent response for consultation! Very professional and courteous. Did a great job trimming the trees, but there was a total disconnect between my expectations on the tree removal and what I actually received! They merely cut the two trees off at the ground, which was something I could have done myself!! When questioned about the "removal" part, the response was, "this is how we always do it", which did nothing for me! During the consultation we had discussed that I wanted to replace the two trees that were to be removed with new trees and the consultant had been so kind as to refer me to a landscape company that could assist with making a better selection for the location. So, how do you replace a tree with the stump and the roots still in the ground?? Guess this was just an educational experience for me - to ask for better definition of what "removing" a tree means before actually having the work done!! And they advertise that they do tree "removal". Just wonder if that ever really means R E M O V A L!! I really liked these guys, so I am sad to have had such a poor experience!!"
