"I contracted Mark for stamped letter for a a structural permit. He was timely, professional, and knowledgeable. Highly recommended."

"I retained Pat to prepare construction drawings in late 2020 for our new home on the Oregon coast. As a retired Structural Engineer, I can tell you that I was very happy with the entire drawing package prepared for our house. There was no problem getting a building permit. Pat used her usual structural engineering consultant to provide the necessary engineering for our house. I reviewed the architectural as well as the structural engineer’s drawings in detail. The entire package was very professional. I would recommend The Design Department, Inc. to any person wanting to have plans prepared for a custom home."

"Eugene continually works hard to hone his knowledge base and drafting skills. He can assist in many different kinds of projects from remodels to new builds, from roofs to foundations, from interior layout to exterior facades. He works to bring our vision to life."

"Explained in detail why they could not give me a structured engineering stamp for my China metal building kit. Very professional."

"Matthew Bruce exceeded our expectations. Our 92-year-old dad fell while using the bathroom and injured himself. We needed an immediate response to make the bathroom safe. Matthew responded to my request very quickly. He asked questions about the situation that showed he had the expertise we needed. He came to the house within a day of agreeing to perform the work and completed the most urgent task that day. He needed other tools to complete the installation of the grab bar drilled into the shower tiles, so he had to return at a later time. He communicated clearly when he could return and completed the task. Additionally, he cleaned up after his work and was pleasant to workMatthew Bruce exceeded our expectations. "They were excellent. They quickly made a draft that only needed 3 minor adjustments. The final product was exactly what I needed. They referred me to a structural engineer for review. The whole process took half of the time that they initially estimated. I would definitely use them again."

"JDV Architecture was a dream to work with from start to finish. We gut remodeled/moved walls/deleted a bathroom and created an additional bedroom within the existing foot print of our 2600 sf home. All of JDVâ s spacial planning ideas looked great on paper, but the final product was better than we could have imagined. We could not have done this without Juanâ s vision. Start to finish JDV made this large and extensive remodel easy to manage."

"Their work was incredible! Great creativity and communication was super easy. Their designs speak for themselves and I was extremely happy with the work product."
