"After purchasing our home in 2016, built in 1966 but remodeled in 2012-14, we thought there would be no major projects. Everything looked fantastic on the outside, but lurking behind the walls were ticking time-bombs from "sub-optimal" materials and poor craftsmanship by the prior homeowner’s contractor. In early 2018, a darkening in the hardwood of the hallway floor outside the master bedroom and bowing of the baseboard and wall-board were our first clue something was not right. Because of the outstanding experience we had with Dorson Jackson of Jackson Construction, we gave him a call and asked if he could investigate. After opening the hallway wall-board, he discovered water was leaking, and had been leaking for some time, from the master bath shower. After consulting with our homeowner’s insurance firm, a claim was filed and we began the process of repair and replacement. It was awful to see the behind the walls, behind the pretty tile and glass, just how much damage had been done. To tear out thousands of dollars of nearly-new tile and fixtures made our stomachs turn but once the true extent of the damage was revealed, we were very thankful that we were in such good hands with Dorson. The subcontractors Dorson provided for electrical, plumbing, tile, glass, and paint – all of them were very professional and we never guessed where we were in the project thanks to Dorson’s frequent updates and weekly schedule plans. On our own dime (in addition to the insurance), we upgraded ventilation, floor tile quality, added radiant floor heat, and changed the location of the valve to one that made more sense. Dorson was mindful of our budget and provided options at varying price points. Not only was our master bathroom repaired, it was elevated to a new level of quality, thanks to Dorson and Jackson Construction’s excellent work. He also pulled permits for any and all areas that were necessary. Dorson’s attention to detail was recognized and commended by our insurance adjuster as well. A situation that could have been very painful to work through went extremely smooth and I believe all parties were pleased. We would highly recommend Dorson Jackson of Jackson Construction, without hesitation."

"Kudos to: Rob, Lawrence, Scott, Kendall, Morgan, and Brendan. Rob made sure info. / wants/needs from things we asked to be taken care of were well known to crew in doing the various jobs. We had a partial fence built, siding cleaning, moss treatment on roof, assorted jobs taken care of inside house.They ALL did a great job EVERYWHERE. Scott, the lead contact person was very kind, and "getting the job done" kinda person doing things really well/ communicating very well! He, Lawrence, and Kendall spent extra time( working later than usual), getting the fence done so my indoor/outdoor cat could be in the backyard safely, and not get out( lost). Made me very happy they were so caring in this aspect, and many other areas, doing FANTASTIC work in all they did. EVERYONE WAS A HARD WORKER, doing really great jobs in all they did. Respectful, jobs WELL done, cleaned areas really well. They stacked the old fence boards and excess pieces of boards leftover in area specified, so we could use the wood for kindling in our wood stove. Did this very nicely! Brendan did fantastic (very careful in all areas), when doing the power washing. Moved my planter back for me so I didn't have to. Morgan took time to moss treat roof VERY WELL; wetting down the roof first, so the moss treatment powder stuck to roof, then sprayed the roof again to start the treatment to working{since no rain expected for quite a while}. He fixed the things requested inside the house:quickly, expertly, friendly,and done correctly; while respecting the areas he was working in( not to leave messes, cleaning up areas he was working in... as needed. :>) :>) Rob and Brendan moved our BBQ grill back to" it's " spot so we didn't have to. They also cleaned up excess concrete leftover and touched up the "treated" fence boards to seal well against the rain. Then took their supplies out of the way, leaving things wonderfully cleaned up. It's no wonder they're ALWAYS sooo busy, they do excellent, QUALITY work. We've had them do MANY other jobs for us, and we're STILL very happy with Rob and ALL his crew. Here is an example of the kind of work Joe does and the kind of man he is. A friend of ours had started a major bathroom remodeling project. As so so often happens, months into the project, thousands of dollars invested, and major demolition work done, my friend's contractor abandoned her, disappeared without a trace, leaving her for several months without a bathroom. I referred her to Joe Arnold. Giving her exactly what she wanted, Joe finished the job in two weeks and for thousands less than the original contractor wanted. That's Joe. And speaking of having saved this friend money, Joe's fees were always very fair in cost. More than fair. On this last point, beyond the type of savings he generated for one neighbor, several other neighbors to whom I have referred Joe have actually paid him more than his estimate because they felt he was charging them TOO LITTLE. What more can I say than that?"

"Purchased coupon on August 11, 2011.  Because I was remodeling my kitchen myself after work and weekends, I didn't have time to deal with the creating the room drafts, plans, layouts or measurements she required.  I did contact Jill and explain the situation and she was very understanding.  She said because I contacted her, not to worry about the deadline.  I remained in contact with her over the next few years (that's how long it took me) and when I was ready around the start of 2014, she worked hard to provide her new design.
