"This job was not easy as the tree to be removed growing very closely among homes & outbuildings. Mike & his crew did a superb job of maneuvering the gigantic lift in among other trees & obstacles in my small front yard. They worked very efficiently, professionally & quickly causing no damage to my home, yard or my neighbors yards & homes. They cleaned up my yard, hauled off debris plus sawed up large limbs & the large trunk into stove size for a low income recipient. They stayed on the time schedule & the cost estimate. I am beyond pleased!"

"Great service from Will Ward. Professional all the way through. I needed some small trees removed and he listened to what I needed and the job was done in a timely manner. Less than 2 weeks but I was in no hurry, I need a small water system installed for my plants and trees and I will definitely be calling on Will again. Thanks Will"

"I am extremely happy with the service I received from Global Green Tree Service. The general manager, Allen Wilson, came out and gave me a free estimate on trimming two trees that hadn’t been trimmed in 12 years since my father passed. The price was very reasonable for what I wanted done. He came back the next morning and did a fantastic job. I am very pleased. He was very professional and courteous, showing his expertise in tree trimming and showing respect for what I told him about my dad’s work by doing it exactly the way my dad had always done it, especially since I had no knowledge of what needed to be done. I will be hiring him again once I’m ready for the landscaping of my front yard. My brother and neighbor commented on how well it was done."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Late August, September, and mid-October are the ideal months for planting a young tree. However, the best time to plant a tree ultimately depends on when the weather transitions to fall-like conditions and eventually winter frost. As long as the hottest days of summer have passed and the ground hasn’t frozen yet, you can still successfully plant trees.

It may not be worth it to rake every leaf in your yard, but it’s necessary to remove the majority of leaves to prevent them from smothering grass growth on your lawn. However, raking leaves isn’t your only option for leaf removal. You can remove leaves easily with a leaf blower or compost or mulch them with your lawn mower to repurpose them to help grow your garden or yard.

Some fast-acting products can rot a tree stump in four to six weeks. Keep in mind, these products contain harsh chemicals that may prevent regrowth in the area. Other products, like fertilizer that contains lots of nitrogen, can enhance the process and rot a stump in about a year. (This is compared to the ten years it can take naturally for a stump to rot.)

Tree roots don’t necessarily break through concrete on their own, but they can certainly take advantage of existing cracks, even very small ones. As roots grow, they expand the cracks, making them larger and leading to serious and costly foundation damage. It’s a good idea to have repairs on any foundation cracks you’re concerned about.

It can be bad to leave a dead stump in the ground. A stump becomes a hefty piece of dead wood in time and eventually (especially with the help of rain) starts to rot. That makes it a locus point for diseases and pesky insects, as well as a bit of an eyesore. It’s best to remove a tree stump completely before it starts to decay, especially before it starts to fall apart. If the tree was removed because of disease, it’s even more important to fully remove the stump if possible.
