"Overall, my experience was very good. The person who helped me with my quote was responsive and personable. We did have some communication issues regarding some of the items we wanted moved. We crews that helped us with the physical move worked very hard and provided solutions when issues came up. The single recommendation I could provide to anyone is be 100% sure everything you want to move is on the digital inventory at least 5 days before moving day. The day of the move, I found things were missing on the digital inventory even though we talked about it."

But DWA was rated so high online that I didn't phone anyone else. I'm so glad I went with my gut, because Lonnie was quick to respond and completely reliable. He did a walk-through of my apartment and gave me a rate on the spot. He stayed in contact with me via text, phone, and email if I had a question or any notes or concern. And on moving day, he sent a team of guys who were young, strong, energetic, and completely professional. They went above and beyond what I expected, and nothing was damaged in the move. "Marley's Movers traveled from Albany, Oregon to Las Cruces New Mexico to pick up my sister's entire household to move to Albany. They arrived right on time, got to work packing immediately.. They were both efficient and careful in packing my sister's items. Furniture was handled carefully and packed securely in the trailer with plenty of protective padding all around. The people that came to pack my sister were so kind to her. She had dementia was easily confused and forgetful. They treated her with such respect and I very happy to see that. "I was in a super jam on May 16th, the day before moving day and nearly in tears stressed out. I also just had massive ankle surgery and could not do anything to help. Everyone who had promised to help went crickets. So I called Higher Ground Moving at the last minute. Nate Becker didn’t bat an eyelash and said he could be there 8-11 AM. So I moved the truck pickup up a couple hours. Nate was right on time and got cracking. Him and one other guy had the truck loaded like Tetris masters with all my valuables, furniture, and boxes tended to like their very own. He made me feel so much better with a super smile and happy go lucky attitude. I had zero moving casualties on the other end. And to give you an idea, I had a 26 foot truck packed to the gills top to bottom front to back. A 7.5 hour drive on less than smooth roads, extremely bumpy at times, absolutely nothing shifted. And to make everything so much better, he was way more affordable than I could have ever imagined. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH!!! Higher Ground Moving rocks! Definitely give them a call if you are looking for a great moving company in Bend."

"This is the sixth time I've used WVM and they have been OUTSTANDING each time. They are reliable, professional, careful, and super fast. We have a couple of things that are tricky to move due to age and fragility, and they spent time figuring best way to wrap and carry. They still finished in 4 hours, going 2 places (storage and the new house). I was very organized, which helps any mover, but the one time I was in total chaos, they still handled it with speed and care. Moving is the worst....but they take a lot of the tension out of the mix. Fantastic. The price quoted includes a generous tip."
