"We had a fantastic experience with Beto's Asphalt Service. Tony responded quickly—providing an estimate the very next day. He was easy to work with, understood our needs clearly, and offered two thoughtful options to address the tree root removal and install a new walkway. The crew arrived on time and did an outstanding job. Everyone on the team was professional and hardworking. I’m very impressed with the quality of their work and plan to hire them again for our upcoming parking lot project. Highly recommended!"

Customers say: True professional

"Carlos and his crew preformed way beyond our expectations in landscaping services and cleanup! They removed lots and lots of heavy dirt that was pushing on our failing brick wall. They removed small tree trunks, and many roots & lots of sod in an areas where they were replaced by varied sized rocks and lush artificial grass. Carlos replaced broken sprinkler heads and added new ones. Also replaced & repaired several new courtyard lights. The crew arranged many large & small pots filled with plants and flowers. Our yard is now very low maintenance and a showroom courtyard for sure! We could not be happier..Carlos will be on the top of our list for go-to contractors!"

"Darlin was very quick to call me up and make an appointment to hear about our project. Israel came out a couple days later to assess and give guidance on the 4 valves, irrigation timer and piping to the backyard (along with even piping our main water line to the backyard which was his suggestion-great idea!). The work was scheduled about a week later and completed in about 4 hours, and affordable! Incredibly friendly and helpful service! We will use their services again in the future without a doubt."

Paving Services questions, answered by experts

Whether you decide to DIY paver installation or want to hire a pro, it’s smart to understand the process. First, you’ll need to prepare the area by clearing away grass and dirt. Next, you’ll add the paver base of gravel and sand before laying the pavers on top. You may need to cut pavers to fit your space or the landscaping design and add edging stones.

You can pour concrete over asphalt if it’s in good condition, thick, stable, and well-compacted. Concrete is more durable than asphalt and can extend the lifetime of your driveway without having to pay frequent asphalt driveway repair costs or replace it completely.

But this is best reserved as a temporary solution based on budget restraints, as asphalt requires more frequent repairs and assessments than concrete. Once that concrete top is poured, it’ll be harder to accurately understand what’s happening beneath that layer, which could lead to more issues.

Whether it's worth it to install a heated driveway depends on how often you'll use it, your lifestyle, and your budget. If you live in a mild climate with little snowfall, then installing a built-in heated driveway system may not be worth it. If you live in a region that experiences mild snowfall, then a portable mat could work better. However, if you live in a region with heavy snowfall, it makes sense to invest in a built-in heated driveway.

The ideal distance between stepping stones depends on your design preference. A general rule is to place them about 24 inches apart from center to center to match an average person's stride. Another common approach is to leave about 6 inches of space between the edges of each stone; this can be adjusted to fit the path's total length without cutting pavers. If you plan to plant between the stones, leave at least 6 to 8 inches of space to give the plants room to grow.

The average cost to repair an asphalt driveway is around $2,459 to $2,500. However, prices can range from $100 for minor DIY crack filling to over $4,000 for more extensive professional work. Costs are often calculated per foot, with minor repairs costing $1 to $3 per linear foot and heavier damage like potholes, sinking, or crumbling costing $2 to $5 per linear foot. Patching smaller potholes can cost around $2 to $3 per square foot. The final price depends on the severity and extent of the damage, driveway design, local contractor rates, and whether sealing is included. For major repairs, it is recommended to hire a professional, and you may get a better deal by bundling repair and sealing services together.
