"Paid them 600 bucks to rid my attic of whatever critter was up there. They put up some one-ways, fumigated the attic, put up a couple screens. Did not solve my problem. They could not figure out where the entry points were, so they made up some BS lies to get me to go away. Stopped answering my calls/would not return calls. Do not hire this company."

My home inspection friend couldn't believe the cost, she expected it to be a lot more based on others she has used. My only issue was I had a lot of spray splattered on porch and house that I had to power wash off. That may be normal, I guess, just didn't know what to expect. Great company, nice professional guys!"

I spray yards, foliage, and homes for pests. How much you want sprayed determines the cost. I use a backpack blower to spread bifinthrin and suspend polyzone for $20 a gallon and that covers approximately 1/4 acre + travel. Results last up to 3 weeks depending on rainfall/ watering. I also use larvicide.

There’s no easy way to calm down swarming wasps, especially if they are already agitated. Stay far away and wait for them to settle down to avoid injury. The cockroach most easily confused with water bugs is the Oriental cockroach, for several reasons. These tiny, bristly larvae have barbed hairs that can lead to allergic reactions in sensitive individuals, resulting in red, itchy welts or rashes. While the irritation may resemble bug bites, it’s actually a response to contact with the hairs or shed skins, not an actual bite. Adult carpet beetles are harmless and primarily feed on pollen, but their larvae can damage natural fibers like wool, fur, or leather in carpets, clothing, and upholstery.

A solution of vinegar and water can deter moles, but be careful about the strength of the solution. Too much vinegar can dry out and kill grass or other plants when distributed too frequently.

When it comes to keeping birds from doing their business on your porch rails, you have several DIY options and home remedies you can try: 

  • Tie a fishing line from one end of the deck post to the other. Birds won’t be able to see the line across the railing, so they can’t land on it.  

  • Hang wind chimes close by, which may scare birds away. 

  • Apply a bird gel repellent to the railings, which contains smells that birds generally don’t like. Or, similarly, you can apply citronella or lemon oil around the railings, since birds don’t like strong smells.
