Mickey performs excellent landscaping work. He installed fescue grass in our backyard, refurbished the flower beds, and created paths made with river rocks. The best testimony of Mickey's work and talents comes from the guy who cares for our lawn throughout the year. John says the fescue lawn and its installation is the best he has seen

The 6+ foot tall grass and weeds which had plagued the street edge were taken care of efficiently. All of the grass that was overgrowing upon the house was trimmed back. The grass, weeds, and trees that were encroaching upon the drive were trimmed back and limbs removed. Two years worth of nature running its course had been alleviated near the house in four and a half hours by the Mickeys Lawn Care couple. All of my interactions with Mel had him showing concern for the state of the property and a desire to do more than what I was asking of him within the same estimation of cost. I was happy with Mickeys Lawn Care as a service and as people.

Mickey does a great job! I love that he communicates when he is heading our way and he shows up on time. He mows, edges, and uses the weedeater on our large corner lot front yard.

Good work. Mickey/Mel contacted me very quickly and came out and set up the job same day. Job was done two days later with a co-worker and did work in a couple of hours. Good job. Prices were very reasonable. I will use again for lawn/yard projects.

The job went quite well; Mel was courteous, prompt, and he and his crew took care of the job in several steps, over the course of a couple of days. It wound up actually being more like 3 or 4 good-sized jobs: removing foliage I had managed to cut down on my own, but ran out of room by the curb, (so most of it was as close as I could drag it), removing a heavily-damaged 40+ year old redbud tree from the front yard, removing the debris from the first 2 large branches that had previously fallen from that tree, clearing a couple of young trees that were trying to grow too close to the house in the backyard, clearing enough of the foliage along the fence line so that you can tell it actually is a chain-link fence again, and cutting back foliage that could damage my house or the various service lines that extend from the telephone pole to the house. With all that cleared away, I feel I can tackle moving and redesigning my flowerbeds and pathways this fall, and get some fescue grass back where the bushes were crowding out the lawn!

Mickey and his team were alway courteous and on time. They did a great job and worked really hard. They were easy to work with and flexible with scheduling. I would highly recommend them. They got the estate looking very nice for the sale. Trees were raised, hedges reshaped, lawn manicured and loads of junk hauled away.

Mel responded right away to my message on Angie’s list, he came out the next day and walked the property. We discussed work that I needed and work he recommended. He provided me with an itemized quote on multiple different projects for my convenience, that way I could pick and choose projects I wanted to pay for as we went, if I wanted that option. We ended up doing the whole list as Mel is very reasonable with his prices compared to work we have had done by other businesses. He did everything from power rake and heavy grass seeding to trimming all the trees on property(which is a lot), removing leaves, lumber I had piled up from deck build, removing dog waste and more. I am very pleased with the service and our yard is off to a good start heading into spring, thanks to Mel and his crew.

Very well. I have them now come out once a week to mow my lawn. He lets me know what day he’s coming and if he can’t he texts me of any delays. Has always been very responsive and returns calls or texts the same day. Have used him on numerous occasions.

Repair and replacement of a weedeater. Mr. Mickey is a liar and a cheat. Sold me a weedeater but he said worked just fine, had to take it back three times for him to fix it right, got home with it and it still didn’t work. Doesn’t keep his word on the timeline of when the repairs will be done. So watch out for this one! Rick

"Why you never mentioned any of this when you paid me ? You brought a Husqvarna chainsaw and weedeater to me to fix. I fixed your chainsaw and inform you that your weed eater was not fixable because it was not holding compression. Meaning that you needed a new motor. I did call you and told you that I had a replacement weed eater the same make and model with no extra charge. Then you call me the next day asking if I can replace the head from one to the other and I told you that would be no problem at all with no additional charge. It would be wise to address me if you have an issue with the equipment when you tried it out before you payed me.... I have no problem replacing or repairing anyting. Keep in mind with your saying is a form of slander...."

Mel did a great job with his team. They trimmed the trees exactly how I asked. There were several low hanging branches that I wanted lightened not cut. They were able to achieve that. They also did a great job cleaning up all the branches they cut out.

I Called from out of state about an elderly relative's yard needing work - he was on site getting me a quote in less than an hour, price was right, linked me to an online estimate, I paid immediately and he will be cutting the yard tomorrow (July 4th!). Couldn't ask for faster or more courteous service. Understood my urgency and jumped right on it. Fantastic customer service! We will be scheduling regular service now....

We hired Mickey’s Lawn Service to assist an aging family member with some yard work she is physically unable to do. He provided us with an estimate for a list of work that we requested. The work was done in a timely manner. Mr. Mickey provided before and after pictures for us. He provided a link for payment. He did an excellent job communicating about the process and kept us informed all along. Work was completed in two sessions. We are pleased with the way the yard looks now. Professional, courteous, and dependable. Prices were reasonable for the work that was completed.

Needed work done on my power washer engine and Mel had me bring it to him right away on a Tuesday. He knew immediately what the problem was (the carburetor) and said he should have it finished by Thursday PM. I was pleasantly surprised when he called me at noon on Wednesday and said he had me ready to go, AND for less $ than he had originally quoted me! I know who will be getting all my small engine repair business in the future! I highly reccomend Mel!
