"Company owners showed up at the agreed date and time.  They did a thorough walk around, asked what seemed to me to be the appropriate questions, and gave me an estimate on the spot.  They told me I would be contacted by their scheduler to arrange for the work crew to come do the work.  They thoroughly explained the process to be used and the precautions that would be taken to protect my property.
 A couple of days later the scheduler called to ask if their crew could come in a couple of hours since they had finished another job earlier than expected.  The crew did its work in about two hours completely to my satisfaction.  They did a good job of cleaning up the fairly small mess they had made and I am extremely satisfied with their work.

"It was great, I'm looking at it now, it's gorgeous. The people who built it were fabulous. In terms of pricing, he was near the bottom of some of the others. He wasn’t the lowest, but he was near the bottom. In terms of the quality of the product, I couldn’t be happier. I love the quality. I would absolutely recommend them. They did a really nice job. In fact, whilst it was near the cheapest, nothing was skimped."

New asphalt goes through two stages: drying and curing. Drying typically takes 24 to 72 hours, after which the surface is solid enough for light use like walking or careful driving. While you may be able to park on it after 72 hours, the surface is still soft and should be treated gently. Full curing is a much longer process, taking anywhere from 30 days to a full year for the asphalt to reach maximum strength. During this extended curing period, the asphalt is susceptible to damage from heavy vehicles, sharp objects, and high temperatures. Factors like weather, the specific asphalt mix, and application thickness all influence drying and curing times. While blacktop is a type of asphalt, the terms should not be used interchangeably, as not all asphalt qualifies as blacktop.
