"When my wife and I finally decided to spend the money to have some exterior remodeling done that we've been talking about for years, I did a lot of research to find a General contractor that had a good reputation. We're not rich, and the amount of work we wanted to do was going to be expensive. As in second mortgage expensive. This included new porches on three sides of the house, replacing the soffit and fascia all the way around the house, new window and door trims all the way around, new rain gutters all the way around the house with gutter guards, and a new concrete patio in the back. Because of the money involved, we only had one shot to get it right so finding someone we could trust was kind of nerve-wracking. You hear a lot of horror stories about dishonest contractors.
