"Paul scheduled us quickly so we could take advantage of the 30% Federal Tax Credit which ends Dec 31st. On the scheduled day the technician arrived on time and started preparing for the job. A short time later he got busy and completed the job in about two hours. The job consisted of our 2nd floor attic area and the area over our family room on the 1st floor. Once he completed his work he cleaned up and was finished. We are very satisfied with the work by SC Insulation and would recommend them for any insulation needs."

The most insulative type of insulation for behind drywall is spray foam insulation, but this is the most expensive insulation available. In addition, having ample skirting around the mobile home's underbelly will help keep pipes insulated during the winter. 

While adding insulation can be beneficial, there is too much of a good thing. Too much insulation can seal your house to the point where it can't release moisture that enters it—essentially trapping water vapor inside. Warm, humid climates are extra susceptible to mold from moisture issues, but homes in colder climates can experience condensation from an air-tight home when freezing temperatures thaw.

Bubble wrap is better for moving since it can be cut to size, whereas dish foam comes in precut sheets that are harder to manipulate. However, if you’re packing items like dishes, wine glasses, picture frames, or mirrors, dish foam will protect them better. Ensure you measure your box beforehand so you know what size dish foam to purchase. 

Spray foam has superior sealing properties, moisture resistance, and soundproofing capabilities compared to traditional insulation.
