"Our furnace install was done professionally. The installers were great. I do not blame any of our problems on the installers. It is their corporate office and lack of concern for issues a customer has that will affect any future customers. They simply do not care. The day after our furnace install we received a text that stated "Anderson Heating, Cooling and Plumbing, and sister company A New Image Heating and Cooling are offering a FLASH BOGO! Valid this week! The Furnace is FREE when you install an AC! Call today for details.". I called immediately because we had expressed an interest in both heat and AC. I asked why we were not offered this BOGO when they knew we were interested in both and the sale was good for the week of our installation. We would have taken this deal and gotten both. I was told by the Mentor office that they were unaware that the sale text was going out and asked if I could give them a few days. The following Monday I did receive a call back and was told they would install our AC for $4,000. The original estimate was about $6,000. So they were offering to take $2,000 off to install the AC. My furnace was $5,695. Is this a deceptive advertising ploy to get another $4,000 out of us? I disagreed with this offer and was given a contact at their home office in Grand Rapids MI. I sent the info to Geoffery Kartes who is their Director of Digital Marketing in MI. That was four weeks ago and I have heard NOTHING from anyone. I even called Mr. Kartes and still did not get a call back. This is apparently a "pass the blame" situation where no one is willing to take responsibility. Associates in the Mentor office agreed with me, one of their associates even encouraged me to escalate my displeasure because he said this has happened before, yet nothing has been done. Maybe if they ignore me I will go away. I will not. I wanted to let potential future customers know this happened. I am also letting the BBB and the Ohio AG know. They made a big mess in my basement ruined most of my family’s clothes then proceeds to argue with me and my fiancé about how they are not a cleaning crew when THEY MADE THE MESS THEM SELVES! All they did is snake a drain found out the pipe collapsed. Told me the issue the. Left me with the mess to clean up my self."

"As I requested they provided the cost for drain snaking upfront. A simple procedure that most others would not quote. (They wanted to do a separate "diagnostic" visit and additional fee. The work was fine. The technician very competent and concientious about keeping things clean. The only rub, they wanted $179 to put the toilet back in (way out of line). I think they could have told me. Nevertheless, I drove to home depot for a wax ring and had it done in 10 minutes. Overall, a 4 oout of 5. If they charged a more reasonable rate for reseating the toilet i would have had them do it, and would have rated a 5."

"The thing I liked most about this company is that when you call you actually get someone who does the work not a secretary that is there to just make an appointment for diagnosis. I had a good idea of what the issue was and was trying to decide if it was worth fixing due to the fact that the washer is 20 yrs old. Once I started shopping I realized I didn't like what was out there and it definitely was worth it to me provided it made sense to fix. It turned out that several things were wrong but all were fixed (not an easy task) and I essentially have a new machine. James and his grandfather were the best and I had an awesome time watching and learning. They are honest, responsive and reasonable in price and certainly have a wealth of knowledge behind them. I would highly recommend and would only call them if I am in need of any other repairs. "
