"Hogeland Construction was the best company that we worked with during the entire build. We began the build right when Covid hit. There were delays upon delays that were out of our locus of control due to Covid restrictions. These delays included in permiting, inspections, availability of materials etc. Covid turn everything upside down. However, Bryan Hogeland was able to adapt to the obstacles and never compromised on the quality of his work. We were impressed by his ability to pivot at a moment's notice to the unpredicted challenges the arose. Bryan's greatest characteristic is his thorough communication. He would even call at night in the middle of a torrential rain storm to make sure that there were no leaks. We can say that I really believed that he was as invested in this project as we were. It was a true partnership."

What started as a straightforward tile job quickly revealed some incorrectly installed plumbing, and Buck went above and beyond to fix it so our project could stay on schedule. His professionalism, skill, and commitment to getting the job done right were evident every step of the way. Buck and his team tiled our bathroom, closet, and laundry room, & also installed hardwood flooring in our kitchen and butler’s pantry. The craftsmanship was exceptional across the board. They kept the job site clean, communicated clearly, arrived on time, and navigated every curveball our old house threw at him with patience and expertise. "Hidden fees, gimmicks and falsified labor Do not work with Tim at Tristate. He bid on a quote we requested through Angi. He disclosed his service fee and that he would have an hourly labor charge depending on the tech he sent. The day before the job, he said he was adding a second guy to get the work done "before the cold snap" -- no other reason was disclosed. The men started work around 9:30am. We have a Ring garage camera that records to the cloud, so it wasn't hard to review their arrival and start time. By 9:43am they left to go pick up a small can of exterior paint and a smaller can of stain. We live 5 minutes from Ace and 15 minutes from Home Depot. They were gone an HOUR and 26 minutes--which I am going to find out only AFTER the job is complete that I would be expected to pay almost $390 in LABOR for that 90 minute road trip for 2 tiny paint cans, as Tim charged $130 per person per hour even for this time in transit--which took far too long given our proximity to stores and "

"TJ completed the following projects at my home: - bathroom remodel to include new vinyl plank floor, removal of tub, installation of walk-in shower and new vanity, install of exhaust fan, and painting - half bath expansion by removing closet and installation of a stand up shower (requiring cutting concrete floor for plumbing), unique tile design install, moving electrical, vinyl plank flooring install, and painting - interior and exterior door installs - expansion of utility room to include moving a wall and plumbing for washer/dryer, building out of another wall, install of plank flooring, and painting TJ is an excellent craftsman and he produced top notch work on all aspects of my projects. TJ was always timely and completed the various stages of the project within our agreed upon budget. He was very diligent while handling all the unforseen issues and last minute changes suggested by my wife with extreme professionalism. I trust TJ and I have recommended his work to friends and family."

Update as of 02/20/2025 I need to change my original review. I was angry that the company didn’t show up. But, they reached out and apologized for being unprofessional about the situation.
