"We always stand behind any items covered under our warranty. Our warranty is on our website for review. We did not receive a request recently to address any issues. We did go out to replace a 2x4 on the railing system that warped over a year ago. This we have no control over but addressed even though not covered under warranty. With the extreme sun your deck gets, treated lumber will be a challenge to maintain. We also went out to attach a angle bracket from the railing post to the home even though it is not a code approved method nor recommended at your request and did not charge for that either. Support posts in deck framing with proper blocking is the best method for a railing system. We used the best quality lumber we had access to from McCabe lumber. Treated lumber will crack, split, shrink and can warp and can understand your frustrations. These items are not covered under our warranty as we have no control over this. Wood was once a living and breathing creature and is an economical choice but every product has pro's and con's. We would have had no issues with addressing these items for you but would have been nice to know that you were having these issues. As for the stamps on the lumber... we do not remove these and is stated in our warranty. Sanding is not the best way to get stamps off because when you go to stain the deck the stain will not absorb properly in those areas. If clients really insist on it we charge them to do so but highly recommend against it. This was not in the contract. We did used to offer staining as one of our services but notified you right away when our staining guy got another great opportunity to start is own business. We did not promise to stain your deck but we did give you a price for it. You did not pay for staining services you did not receive. We even gave you his personnel cell phone number to reach out to him because you were very happy with the staining he did on the fence."
From start to finish, there was never a hiccup; the entire project was extremely well planned and executed. Mike Cousino, All Decked Out's Project Manager, stayed with the job every day and his crew was wonderful to work with. Mike never balked at answering questions and gladly provided explanations for the why and how of things.
We are picky...very picky individuals. We feel very strongly that we got enormous value for our money. The All Decked Out team provided a well engineered, highly detailed, sophisticated platform that we expect to use and enjoy for many years to come. Our project has been completed...on time, within budget and to our complete satisfaction. And...we're very picky people.
Would we hire this firm again...in a heartbeat!
"Thank you for your kind words. You were amazing to work for and happy customers is why we do business! Thanks again for your business and I hope you get to enjoy your new deck soon!"
