"We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. We have a small house in Romeo that was built in the late 1800s. Our basement was in bad shape. All of the beams and support poles were wood and the majority of them were either sagging or cracking. We had one contractor tell us that no one was going to want the repair work, another basement repair contractor said that it was way beyond their capabilities and a different one came in and whipped up a $20k estimate within an hour and got pushy when we didn’t want to hand over a deposit. Bobby from HomeSpec walked in and said he absolutely wanted our business but wanted us to have a structural engineer come in first so he could properly quote it and provide us with appropriate solution. Bobby provided us with a list of structural engineers and even called one of them up so we would have an idea of how much it would cost to get a report. We were so impressed with his sincere desire to help us. Bobby came back with a manager after we got the structural engineering report and spent over two hours with us one evening getting a plan together. Two months later, the work began on time and was completed within the 5 day time period that they had promised us. The foreman, Roger, and all of the crew were extremely professional and knowledgeable. They answered all of our questions and kept us in the loop throughout the entire process. We just had the local building inspector come out for the final walk-through and he was thoroughly impressed with the finished work. He said that whoever did the work was someone he would be happy to hire to do work at his own home. From start to finish, HomeSpec went above and beyond and I would highly recommend them to anyone!"

"A representative from the company came out to provide a free basement inspection & quote for a small "added on" room in our basement. He explained how water has been getting into our basement and what would need to happen to prevent it from happening further. He provided us with an estimate at that time. To be honest, it was more money than what we thought we could afford for the little room. I was then contacted about a week later with an offer for a field supervisor to come out and re-inspect the basement. At that time, they were able to provide another estimate, but this time, to have the entire basement waterproofed. He walked us through what the water was doing to the walls in the other portion of the basement, and what that could mean in the future if it continued. The estimate differed by a fairly minimal amount. We decided to move forward with the project. The scheduling process was simple. We had an EZ Breathe unit installed within a month of the initial contact/estimate. The job was scheduled to be started roughly another month out. When the crew(s) arrived the first day, the gentleman spent time with us to explain what he would be doing that day and going over some basic paperwork. He put plastic over everything in our basement to try to keep it protected and to help minimize the concrete dust that would inevitably get everywhere. The second day, a crew arrived to dig (by hand) along the side of our house all the way down to the footer. The 2 gentleman were outside in VERY cold temperatures, but they worked through it all. I'm sure they complained about the cold amongst themselves , but they did not do it in earshot of us. When the crew arrived on the third day, they had such a system in place, it was awesome to watch them work together so well. They all had positive attitudes and were very polite to all of us. They ensured that they protected our floors, stairs and doorways to minimize tracking the dust/concrete, etc. throughout our home. They cleaned up after themselves as best as possible, even going as far as sweeping our kitchen floor and breezeway to get as much of the dust/debris off of the floor. The staff at EverDry were all very polite & professional. We felt that they truly cared about our home & getting the job completed the right way. They did a very thorough job of explaining the process to us, showing us the progress and ensuring that all of our questions were answered. At the completion of the job, they thanked us for our business and followed up if we had any further issues/questions. I would recommend them to anyone!"

"I am amazed at The quality of their customer service. Before I became disabled, I was employed at the hospital for 28 years and I know how hard-working with the public can be. "The work was done on the scheduled day, the team arrived on time. they worked VERY hard each day (it took two days), and attempted to keep the dust contained. This would be my one issue with the job they did. They encapsulated the area they would use to gain access to the house, and to reach the basement. They attempted to encapsulate all the "stuff" I had stored in the basement. They were only partially successful. They left gaps in the encapsulation into which large amounts of cement dust drifted and settled on everything. They did have a big filter running during the job, and swept the floor quite well before they left. Still the entire basement had to be wiped down and vacuumed using a HEPA type filter. We thought we understood the scope of the dust that would be created - we were woefully mistaken. I blame myself for not being more aware of the encapsulating they were doing. I am confident that if I had asked for more plastic wrap, they would had done it. Bottom line - it is a very messy job, and you need to get involved in the encapsulation process Would I recommend them to my friends - definitely.. The leak I had in my basement (the reason they did the work) has not returned, and the basement looks good. They are an excellent company with a good product, many years of experience, good reviews, excellent team members, and very responsive to your questions. Just be prepared for a big time clean up."
