I got a phone message saying that they were over whelmed with business, and they were dropping me from their schedule. I am retired and couldn't afford every week, they were cutting every 2 week, only last year. So, since I couldn't afford every week, they dropped me. They are SUPPOSEDLY a very religious family. Who would do that? I hate they did that, I thought they were good people, but apparently I wasn't worth it to them."

"BEWARE: Lien Threats & Hidden Pricing I'm 45, have owned three 100-year-old homes, and never left a negative review until now. I hired Honey Go Fix It to reseat a toilet. I signed on a phone screen where the price was obscured. The job took <20 minutes. The bill? $481.65. A wax ring costs $10. When I called to discuss the sticker shock, Kassandra (the President) threatened a mechanic's lien on my house in the first two minutes of the conversation. I offered $300 to settle amicably (extremely generous for 20 mins of labor). She refused. However, in her email refusal, she admitted they are "adding extra clarity steps... to help prevent future misunderstandings." She acknowledged in writing that their process causes confusion, yet still threatened our property rights. I paid the invoice to avoid the lien. WARNING: They use exorbitant flat rates and digital screens to hide the total until it's too late. Get the price in clear writing before signing. Better yet, avoid this company."

"DIY delivery is what you get from Agean. We paid $75 to have our shower base, walls, vanity top and cabinet delivered. We expected to have the items delivered, unloaded and placed where we wanted them. Instead, Agean informed us by phone that “we require another person to be present to help unload the truck.” We were shocked that we were not told this when ordering our pieces. Agean was quick to offer to keep our pieces until we could arrange to pick them up. Or we could pay an extra $25 for an additional person to help unload. Without any other option we agreed to pay the extra money. When the pieces were delivered “only to the garage” they were placed vertically against a wall. If left this way the pieces would warp so we ended up moving the pieces ourselves to a horizontal position on the floor. At the least Agean should refund our entire delivery fee. We didn’t get what we paid for. Secondarily they should inform future customers about their delivery procedure. Customers should know what they are not getting when they pay for delivery from Agean. Customers get a driver and a truck but are expected to help with their own delivery. A vanity top provided by Agean on another job was extremely prone to scratches. Agean said that a coat of car wax would fix the problem but it did not. Replacing any pieces once they are installed is expensive and time consuming. Reconsider using this product."

You should always check your user's manual for the weight capacity of your pool enclosure. In most cases, it is not safe for someone to walk on their enclosure. Professional pool installers will have more experience in repairing enclosure roofs and how to scale them without risking injury.

In most states, it is a legal requirement to have a fence around your pool. Laws vary by state and city, so check with your state and local government for regulations specific to you. Additionally, most homeowners' insurance providers will require some type of fence surrounding a residential pool before they provide coverage.

A retaining wall can only function as a fence if it’s high enough on all sides to prevent someone from accidentally falling into the pool. However, most retaining walls retain dirt, which means their purpose is not related to safety. There would need to be nothing on the other side of the wall for it to be considered a fence, but in that case, it wouldn’t retain anything and would cease to be a retaining wall.  

If you don’t have the budget for one, there are numerous ways to warm up your pool without a heater. You can improve the insulation, use solar covers to trap heat from the sun, or even let a black hose sit in the sun until it heats up and delivers fresh, warm water straight to your pool.

Mesh and tempered glass are both very safe pool fencing options because they’re difficult to climb. You might also want to consider installing a pool safety net, and always make sure your pool is maintained properly. You could even consider a swimming pool enclosure that surrounds the pool on all sides.
