"Very good service at a fair price. Service Manager Nick gave no pressure options for my situation. I elected for a new install which was performed within two days. Nick was very knowledgeable and responsive to my questions and concerns. Joe and Kaleb did an amazingly good job integrating the new furnace. Thrown together old systems now look like one streamlined unit. It doesn't just "work," it was put in with some craftmanship (HVAC art). Will definitely continue to use this company."

"Everything went very well from start to finish. We were replacing both furnace and a/c as they were nearing the end of their expected life. House has three levels and lowest level has always been very cold. Greg Blair came to house and said installing of a low-voltage fan that runs 24x7 would help significantly. He was correct....lowest level now quite comfortable without space heaters. All work done on time and very neatly, without it being necessary for us to be there. Cleanup was very thorough...we wondered the first day if they had even come, until we opened the utility closet and saw all newly installed equipment. Their office staff also very helpful and professional. Work completed exactly per the estimate. Duke Energy rebate, manufacturer rebate, and federal tax credit programs all explained and paperwork completed for us. Very positive experience in all respects."

"Bob showed up right on time, small explanation of what they was going to do and that it would take about 4 to 5 hours. They brought their equipment {very clean equipment and carried it were it went} in and got busy. 4 hours later, after explaining what they did and the work they preformed, they was on their. there was 1 concern with the furnace and they will be back out to fix it for me.Job well done."

Heating and Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

For the most part, you should leave your AC fan in “auto” mode so that it only runs during a heating or cooling cycle. Keeping it in this position uses less energy, which equals lower utility bills. However, there are some situations where it’s better to leave your AC fan on, including if you have allergies or there are lots of people in your home.

It’s normal to hear a low humming sound as air moves through your vents. Most of the time, you probably won’t even notice it. However, if that sound becomes disruptive or if you hear more concerning noises (such as rattling, clicking, banging, hissing, or grinding), there might be a problem with your HVAC system.

Yes. Getting a whole-house dehumidifier can help you save money on energy bills. How? Your home automatically feels cooler when there’s less humidity in the air (“It’s the humidity that gets ya!” is such a true statement). This means that you won’t need to run your AC as much as you would if you had all that extra humidity in your home.

Yes, HVAC zoning systems offer energy savings by allowing precise temperature control in different zones in your home. Rather than conditioning the whole house uniformly, these systems direct airflow where needed, preventing energy waste. Tailoring comfort to specific areas reduces energy consumption and lowers utility costs, making HVAC zoning an energy-efficient choice.

You might notice that your air conditioner isn’t running as effectively as it once did. Specifically, your AC unit could take longer to cool your home, or it might struggle to remove humidity from the air. Higher utility bills and hissing sounds coming out of your AC could also indicate a leak.
