"We are so happy with our new Frisby roof! We originally contacted Frisby because we were getting water in our basement and dining room floor. They came over very quickly to look our water damage & figure out where the water was coming from. They quoted a great price to replace our 20 year old roof and communicated with us on all aspects of replacing the roof, giving us samples of roof colors, etc. Our new roof was installed yesterday in one day, by their very professional workers, with Frisby showing us photos of roof damage/repairs throughout the day!! The workers also left our property so neat that you would hardly know they were there all day! All around great company to work with!"

"Joseph did an excellent job removing two trees on our property. He also hauled them both away, plus a bunch of brush we had already taken down. He was exceptionally professional and polite, got the work done quickly, and did a wonderful job removing everything! Also, his prices are wonderful! I would hire him again in a heartbeat"

Eads Fence Co Inc
Eads Fence Co Inc
50 employees. Uses subs occasionally for installation. Charges a flat rate. Some travel charges apply. Financing available.
"Eads Fencing Co. maybe one of the worst companies we have ever done business with in our 35+ years of owning homes. 1. The first install was the wrong color (Eads fault) the first crew installed the fence about a foot above the ground, (pictured). When we informed the crew that this was WRONG, they decided to cut off the bottom of the post to cover-up their error (pictured). 2. This first crew had spray painted our neighbors fence (pictured), and paint drips on our driveway. - After all this, a few days later a second crew, which seemed like a family who also brought their elementary children with them, to tear out the fencing. Leaving 31 -- 2 to 3 foot holes in our back yard. This was to cause a liability for us if anyone was to fall/hurt themselves on our property due to these holes. Eads contract states that the customer takes care of the Dirt/Spoils, as the “installer will pile around post”. EADS had to remove all the post due to your mistake. Therefore they should have replaced the dirt until they can complete their part of the contract. They would not, so we had to fill these holes since it was going to be another 8 weeks before the correct color fencing was to come in. - Even after the correct fencing came in Eads did not order enough post, panels or even enough post caps. Making the completion of the install an even longer process. - The contract was signed on May 5, but the final completion and payment was not until October 30, 2023. - Even 2 weeks after invoice was paid, we had to contact Eads to fix a crooked post (Nov. 14th 2023) - In March of 2025, 17 months after completion of the fencing, one of the panels started coming out of the post. (pictured) - - After multiple emails and phone calls to Eads asking them to come to repair the fence, stating to them that we know the warranty has expired, and that this will cost us, they NEVER ‘got back’ to us. - We now have straps holding the fence post together - I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT YOU DO NOT USE Eads FOR ANY FENCING. As Brian, from Eads, has stated in one of his emails to us, is “that we messed up” (July 19th 2023)."

Dalton Fence
Dalton Fence
No subs. Family owned & operated. Additional e-mail [email protected]
"We obtained 3 quotes for replacement of our residential wood fence. Dalton's quote was in the middle for demo/removal of 318' of picket fence, and installation of 318' of a wood "Kentucky Horse Board" (very similar to a split rail) with dog fencing. Dalton provided addresses to drive by to see that type of fence. They arrived at 8am on the day they said they would, got the old fence removed, new holes dug, new posts set in concrete and left around noon. Returned the next morning, got all the fencing installed, including some minor "custom" work and were all done by noon. I think there were at least 5 guys running around working hard and diligently with no standing around chewing the fat, etc. Owner Mr. Dalton was on the job and working with the guys. We and the neighbors are extremely impressed with the quality and look of the new fence. They showed up, started the job, wrapped up the job entirely within the time frame they said they would. Now, granted, weather was fully cooperative, but still. Further, there was the challenge of installing the new fence along the back property line, 2 feet away from the neighbors' existing metal fence. On top of that, there was the occasional annoyance of the neighbors' aggressive/snarling/barking German Shephers and Great Dane. Dalton's crew took it all in stride."

MERKER ORNAMENTAL IRON INC
MERKER ORNAMENTAL IRON INC
Custom fabrication of wrought iron
"From the beginning the owner’s arrogant bragging about the product and the high cost nothing rose even close to those claims. The install was 6 months after initial contact and 2 months after promised. Installed in our stairs during rain and snow and had to come back to reinstall because it was wobbly. The coating/paint was bubbled up and down the 30’ of stairs. Had to push to get them back to redo much of surface. All along the customer service person blamed everything but the installation and finishing. Gave the company another chance with a shorter railing on our covered porch. This was a better install yet less than 1 year after install there are areas where paint has chipped or not applied properly and iron is exposed and started to rust. No response from company when requested a a repair. Now it has been approximately 2 years since the long stair railing was installed. It has almost never been used because we enter from side of house at garage door. As I meet a delivery person on the stairs I saw that the top surface had discolored and there was numerous points where the paint had chipped and rust was starting. I immediately called the company and asked that we be scheduled to have a repair. As usual I talked to the same person who always answers the phone and received the standard reply, “ that should not have happened, did something scratch the surface? Well it will be awhile because we have a lot of re-dos scheduled and we are having trouble finding anyone to catch up on the requests. This was 2 months ago - no contact back from the company. All of the boasting and guarantees about quality and workmanship have never come close to the owners initial boasts. In summary - go elsewhere if you want quality workmanship, good customer service, timely installation and service, and standing behind product. It is possible that a customer with a large order and paying a lot more money may receive better response and service, but for the Average residential customer there seems to be little regard for quality and customer service. Obviously, I need to find another wrought iron company to remove and reapply a protective finish to my two sets of railings. With a proper quality finish this can be a great addition to our home. Thank you."

"The crew did good while installing the fence. Did wonder why they were using one bag of concrete for 3-4 posts. Some of the boards were bad when installed and after several contacts someone did come out and changed them. After only 5-6 months a huge amount of fence boards were twisting, bowing, pulling away from the 2x4 they were nailed to. Two of the 4x4 leaned over, one spilt from the top down. The fence looked as if it was 10 years old, not 5-6 months. And one gate is sagging so bad I can't even open it now. I contacted the company and have been getting the run around for the last 5 months. Ron finally came out and said he would send a crew out to fix the gate. They wanted to move the latch down but did not have a dowel to plug the hole. I asked how would that help the fact the gate was sagging so bad I could not use it. Someone else came out to look at all of the issues and said he would send someone to take care of the issues. That crew turned up with 30 boards. Once they looked at it they told me a lot more than 30 boards were needed to fix the fence. No 4x4 was with them. Said the person who did the contract needed to come out and look at the fence. Greg came out, took pictures this time, said he would have a meeting with the owner, manager and get back with me in a week or so. Three weeks later I stopped by the office and no one knew anything about what Greg had said. That the crew had come out to repair the issues and I told them not to fix the fence. That is a complete lie!!! Now they are telling me that they can't help it when wood changes. I paid them for a new fence. After 5-6 months I have a fence that looks years old, with one gate that is not useable and another one that is getting that a way. I have spent the last 5 months trying to get the fence fixed with no result. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Once they have their money they only give you the run around and will not stand by their work or the pledge of service they have on their web site. A bad company to do business with."

FAQs for driveway gate service projects in Phillipsburg, OH
When choosing a driveway gate, consider the fence material, whether you want an automatic gate or a manual one, and property limitations like the slope of your driveway. We recommend speaking with a professional driveway gate installer to see what types of gates will work on your property based on your fencing or home’s exterior. Keep in mind that driveway gates should range between 10 to 12 feet wide to ensure cars can easily maneuver through the gateway.
It might be possible to install your own manual driveway gate rather than an automatic one, but we don’t recommend it. Driveway gates are large, heavy, and bulky, and getting them to your house and maneuvering them for installation can be dangerous. It’s also challenging to install the gate and balance it perfectly so that it functions as expected, and wiring any automation mechanisms for your gate is also dangerous and requires help from an electrician. We recommend leaving the work to a professional driveway gate installer.
Driveway gates are expensive to install, but they are usually a worthwhile investment. Not only does this exterior feature improve your curb appeal and, by extension, your property value, but they also help keep your home secure. Driveway can keep out unwanted guests and provide additional privacy for you and your household. Plus, they can serve as a means of keeping children and pets in your yard, depending on the type of fence.
In most municipalities, you will need a permit to install a driveway gate unless you plan on removing an existing gate and installing a new one. You can either ask your driveway gate installer or your local building department to determine if a permit is required in your area and for your specific project. If you live on a corner property, additional restrictions may be attached to your permit that prevent you from installing a gate over a certain height or a privacy fence. Make sure you check with your installer about permitting before choosing a gate.
The average cost to install a driveway gate is around $3,500, and prices usually total between $1,900 and $6,000. However, security and driveway gates can cost as much as $12,000. Some cost factors include the size of the gate, the type of gate, the gate material, and the security level of the gate. A wrought iron gate will be more expensive than a PVC driveway gate, which will typically cost more than a wood gate. Automated gates are always more expensive than manual ones, as they require additional electrical installation.
