"We did the demo on our old two-tiered decking. Betterliving built a new upper deck from composite with aluminum railing. The lower deck was replaced with as 12X15 sunroom. The process from start to finish was a pleasure. All employees were friendly, knowledgeable, skilled, and prompt. Price was better than anticipated, so we went with a 4-season sunroom instead of a 3-season. The worksite was safe, clean and orderly, and the quality of the build was excellent. They worked through some miserable cold weather too. Deck – Betterliving’s construction quality was a major improvement to what we previously had. Their suggestion to use two colors on the railing worked out great too - spindles are a different color that the rest of the railing. Sunroom - also very solid construction. It is insulated well, and also helps even out the temps in the family room it is attached to. The gable style not only looks nice, but makes the sun room look bigger. They built a small landing off of the sunroom entryway too. It is important to note that they installed the flooring and contracted the electrical. Flooring and electrical work were included as part of our quote with them. Not all of our quotes from other businesses included flooring and electrical work, and would have been an additional cost. Having everything included in the quote also meant we had one project, not several projects. Deck/sunroom/landing materials – decking and landing materials were the same composite materials. The sunroom skirting was also the same composite. This ties everything together visually, and improves the overall look. Electrical work – Knorr Electric completed all the electrical in the sunroom (interior and exterior outlets, exterior floodlight, and hung a ceiling fan). They also replaced all of our outside lighting on the entire house while they were here, and moved a bathroom light inside. They were also friendly, knowledgeable, skilled, and prompt. And quality work from them too. We will definitely contact Betterliving and Knorr again for any additional work we want done. They are highly recommended! Note that Betterliving in the Erie, PA area is connected to DBC Remodeling and Construction (same employees). DBC came highly recommended to us from a friend."

"I have hired EM Painting and Remodeling for many different projects big and small, and I could not be happier with my experience. Elis and his crew show up when they're supposed to, work hard, do great quality work, and their prices are very reasonable. I recommend him to all of my friends and family members whenever they need painting, drywall, carpentry, flooring, cabinet, or tile work done, and they've all had good experiences. Good contractors are hard to find, and he is definitely one of the good ones!"

"We hired Desborough Construction to do a major kitchen remodel, which included doing a redesign of the dining room so that it now flows freely to/from the kitchen. We also had Desborough Construction install all new exterior doors and install new flooring in our foyer and guest bathroom as part of the project. John worked closely with us from the initial design throughout the entire construction phase. He was easy to work with, and he was instrumental in helping us turn our ideas into reality. John and his team were everything that one could hope for when contracting a project of this size. They were prompt, efficient, courteous, clean and their attention to detail was second to none. We were extremely pleased with every step of the process, and we are incredibly happy with the final result. We have nothing but praise from everyone who has seen the transformation of our kitchen area. We recommend John and his team with the absolute highest regard. They are simply the best! We are 100% satisfied."

"Shawn did a wonderful job remodeling both of my bathrooms. They were total remodels, including new cabinets, toilets, shower, bath tub, paint, base boards, etc. Shawn was on time every day, always kept me informed about how things were going, and is a perfectionist. The new bath rooms are perfect, and everyone who comes over remarks at how great they turned out. I would recommend Shawn to do any remodel project you need done. He is a great guy, honest, and very easy to work with. Thanks Shawn!"

"I had a microwaved installed over the oven, originally it was just a fan above the oven, The company that did the work was Nest Home Construction, Inc. Peter came over on March 22nd, and completed the whole project that day, He did a great job! He was very professional and courteous and did not rush to get the job done! He moved the existing fan, vent and cabinet, and the reinstalled the new cabinet, and mounted the microwave, which he had to make a duct to connect into the microwave fan vent so it would align with the existing outside vent. His pricing is reasonable, and the quality of work is excellent! My wife and I are very pleased with the work that he did. We also plan on having him do more work for us in the kitchen in the future! We would strongly recommend him!"
