"I made the arrangements over the phone. They came during the day, while I was at work. After work, I took a look where the nest had been, and there wasn't a trace of the nest afterwards. Leaving lights on is not an effective or foolproof method for keeping cockroaches away. While roaches are nocturnal and prefer darkness, light alone is not enough to stop them, especially if they are seeking food, water, or shelter.
