Furthermore, Joe readily agreed to another project and built a new picnic table bench to replace our dilapidated one and shored up our other bench. It’s an old firehouse that didn’t have a thermostat amongst other part that were missing which kept it from being habitable in the winter. He came in with his team and was able to fix the 3 boiler system and get a thermostat. Now it’s no longer under 50 inside the building. Definitely recommend."

They worked and listened to me on ideas I had on what I wanted to have done, and we worked well together to come to a final solution that worked, as some of the ducts was hard to install. This is because NATE certification signifies a higher level of expertise and professionalism, often leading to more efficient and effective HVAC repairs and installations. While the upfront cost may be marginally higher, NATE-certified technicians can potentially save you money in the long run by reducing energy consumption, preventing frequent breakdowns, and extending the life span of your HVAC system. When looking for a local HVAC company to hire, it never hurts to ask about NATE certifications.

For most systems, an annual HVAC system service is more than enough. Some homeowners prefer a twice-a-year visit to ensure the system is ready for the upcoming summer and winter seasons. If you need to call an HVAC pro more often than this, it may be time to check if your system is getting old enough for a replacement.

You need to service an HVAC system about twice per year, with a service including an inspection and basic maintenance. It’s best to schedule maintenance in the spring (after the furnace has been running and before the AC kicks on) and in the fall (after the AC worked hard all summer and before winter’s first chill arrives). 

Regular HVAC services will keep the system working as efficiently as possible, saving you money on utilities and larger repairs. HVAC maintenance costs around $250 per visit, while bigger repairs from forgotten upkeep could cost thousands.

The most obvious downside is the high upfront cost of buying and installing one of these systems. Additionally, sometimes the system can take a longer time to heat than alternatives like a boiler.
