We called Wallace and made an appointment for the next week. Two repairmen showed up to look at the unit. It was raining so they didn't do anything that day and they just looked at the unit inside and out. They said they would be back. The next day the owner showed up because apparently he had to fire someone that morning. He didn't bring a ladder to get on the roof and check out the outside unit (way to be prepared). He said it sounded like the condenser was bad without looking at anything (thanks for your "expertise"). He said someone else would be there with a ladder. So the next week another repairman showed up and charged the unit. He looked at the inside unit that was leaking water from the drip pan and used a dye pack at my request. He said I needed a new drip pan and he would get me a price for one. The next day he showed up and said his boss had told him to order a pan. He told me it would be $100 (that's funny - you told me you would just get me a price). I told him I didn't want it. So he plugged the hole in the pan. Before leaving he said they would be back in a couple weeks to check the dye pack. We waited about 2 1/2 weeks and called them. The person I talked to said they would call us to make an appointment. It's been over two months since we first called them, and I'm still waiting on that call for an appointment.....................................

Our furnace had been working off/on all day. We finally called 2 other heating/air guys around 11 pm. One never called back and the other one called back and basically said he didn't have any parts for our furnace but he could come at 8:30 the next morning to look at it. So we called Wallace heating/air within 10 minutes my husband was on the phone with a tech and in 20 minutes he was at our house.

I had another contractor replace the outdoor heat pump and wasn't told that I should have replaced the indoor unit at the same time.

Other contractors had quoted me over 8000 to complete the replacement- some told me that it wasn't even possible and I needed to buy all new components again!

Wallace Heating and air was very honest about the situation and were more than helpful in finding the correct replacement to make my home comfortable for the winter.

My unit was not easily accessible yet I never heard a complaint from their employees while they were there. They left my house cleaner than in was when they came in and were very conscientious and on time for the work.

It was the 2nd 80 degree day in a row and my AC was completely dead. I Googled and quot;Central air problemsand quot; and quickly decided I needed a pro. I went through the Yellow Pages calling Air Conditioner Repair providers and Wallace Heating and Air was the only one who promised to come that day. They estimated late afternoon but Bruce (the repairman) arrived at 2:30. I was all paranoid at first because some artice I read gave a whole raft of questions I was supposed to ask him while he was repairing the unit in order to be sure I didn't get ripped off. But I realized I'm not that kind of person so I just decided to trust him. He diagnosed the issue right away and had everything up and running in about 15and quot;. The problem was a burnt-out contactor, which he brought inside and showed me. It cost about $109.00 for everything. Bruce's competence and professionalism were impeccable and I'll definitely use Wallace for any future needs.
