Customers say: True professional

"John did an excellent job of refinishing the hardwood floors in a house I just purchased in Lakewood. They took out the old carpet upstairs which revealed an old Lakewood hardwood floor with some rough spots. After John finished the job you would not be able to tell anything was wrong. I am very satisfied with the end result. John was also very easy to work with - I left a lockbox at the house and had complete peace of mind. Would definitely recommend John and his team for any flooring job."

"We would highly recommend this business. Ed and Scott did a outstanding job with our floors and stairs. Their price and professionalism were well worth the money to re-finish our old floor. They completed the job on time and we had minimal clean-up. Howard"

"Robert, did an amazing job on our old Bruce hardwood floors. They were very difficult to sand and very ugly. It was a big job and Robert transformed them into a thing of beauty. He was great to work with and I highly recommend him."

"He does beautiful work! I had my living room hardwood floor repaired and refinished. My house was built in 1962 so the floor was very scarred up. He made it look absolutely beautiful. There was a hole cut in the floor that he repaired and it blends beautifully. The equipment he used created very little mess. I will definitely use him again!"

"Mate did an exceptional job on my parents floors. He sanded, stained, put clear coat on and buffed them. He came back the next morning to put another clear coat on. He was very punctual and professional throughout the entire process. No mess in the house and very clean work. Price was very reasonable for the top of the line quality he provides. Would recommend him to anyone!"

"Larry & his crew were absolutely amazing. What started out as a job that should’ve only taken 2 days turned into 3 weeks due to unforeseen issues with our home. The guys are very professional & want to make sure things are done right & the customer is happy. We would absolutely recommend this crew to anyone who needs flooring done."

Floor Sanding questions, answered by experts

Before property transactions or major improvements to ensure accuracy.

You can’t build on undeveloped land without preparing it for construction, which involves running utilities to the site or accounting for private utilities like wells and septic systems and grading and compacting the soil for safe construction. Once you prepare the land, you can build on it as long as the project abides by local zoning regulations.

A professional land surveyor ensures accurate property boundaries and prevent legal disputes.

With proper training and experience, reading blueprints is fairly straightforward and not very difficult. If you don’t have the necessary knowledge to interpret the symbols, abbreviations, and other notations used, blueprints may not make sense. Learning to read blueprints can help you understand the construction process and keep you more involved and informed when you’re building a house.

Measure from zero on a measuring tape by placing the metal hook right up against the edge of what you need to measure. You can also latch the hook onto an open edge—of, say, a table—to accurately measure as well. If you begin at the 1-inch mark, you'll need to subtract an inch from your total.
