Exceptional! We are beyond pleased with our hardwood floors. We just moved into a new house where half of the flooring was an orange-colored hardwood and the other half was carpet. Zoltan and his team came in and refinished the existing hardwood floors and perfectly matched and installed the rest of the first floor with hardwood. Now they are a beautiful espresso color. This was not an easy job and the team was able to do it seamlessly. Thank you to Cleveland Hardwood Flooring. Can't recommend enough!

Zoltan and his team were great! They installed hardwood floors on our entire first floor and did an incredible job. The existing floors had multiple different types in different sections (hardwood, laminate, tile). Zoltan and his team removed everything and made sure everything was leveled out across the rooms before installing the new floors. Zoltan was always very communicative and let us know what was happening/what the timeline would be for different parts of the process. We are extremely happy with how the project turned out - it looks amazing! We would gladly use Cleveland Hardwood Flooring again if we ever need, and would absolutely recommend Zoltan to anyone we know in need of flooring work.

Owner, Zoltan, put immediate priority on providing me with an accurate estimate for the removal of carpet and installation of 5” white oak hardwood in my bedroom remodel. His team showed up on time and worked cleanly and efficiently from start to finish. Each day, Zoltan provided me a schedule of work during the 2.5 day project. I am extremely dissatisfied. 1. Zoltan estimated the floor area much higher that what we measured, and when we asked him to re-measure it, he never did and said he needed to pay his guys. 2. Floor at end of work was not good. We requested an extra coat. He wanted to charge us extra money for it. We told him it should be included in the total price that we already paid in full. He agreed but he coated the floor without even vacuuming, after a full week from previous coating, and now the final coat is rough all over the floor with hair and dusts all impeded in the final coat, and really looks horrible. 3. A dirty wood area just ahead from the front door that is still as bad as it was before his work. I requested him to do whatever to fix it but he said he couldn't. Had he told me that he couldn't fix it before he started, I would not have hired him. But I didn't expect that, as I thought I hired a flooring professional who should be able to do his job completely, however this was not the case. I see some good reviews for him, but my experience with him was really bad . We paid larger amount of money for a bad job. I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed everyday when I look at the hardwood floor since the minute he finished the work. I don't recommend him at all.

"This is an absolute LIE!!!! I will reach out to the customer and ask what’s his problem!!!! We have an estimate to the customer and he signed of as everyone do he wasn’t complained then!!! I did explain to them about the light water damage what they had and told them that we will remove it with sanding and refinishing as best as humanly possible!!!!! It came out really nice you can barely see it!!!! When we stopped by after completion the floor was perfect but they wanna to have an extra coat for FREE BECAUSE THEY FELT FOR SOME REASON THAT THEY WERE OVERCHARGED!!! THEY WERE NOT BY THE WAY!!!!! As soon as we started the work they were talking about sqft I have measured it again and on my end everything was clear but not on they’re end for some strange reason!!! I did not force them to sign agreement honestly, I don’t understand why we got hired then if they felt the price was too high!!!!! This is absolutely comical in a sad way and try to damage our reputation this is when we contractors need Angie’s list to step up and not allow this kind of reviews posted because it is absolutely not accurate!!! And yes we applied an extra coat and I was gonna charge but they were not willing to pay for the material so I decided to eat that cost and did it for free on a Saturday morning and obviously we did vacuumed up as well common sense!!! Honestly some people are EVIL AND THAT IS SO SAID!!!!"

I cannot recommend Cleveland Hardwood Flooring enough!! We are AMAZED and what the team did for our 1930 pine floor that needed some serious help - we cannot believe how well it turned out. They came recommended to us from two separate friends, and we can’t wait to recommend them to someone else. Zoltan and the team were highly responsive, and very easy to work with. You can just tell they are good people. We received a very good quote, the work started on time, and it finished early. The attention to detail is amazing - there were repairs made that we had no expectation of being taken care of. They are highly knowledgeable and were incredibly helpful when it came to deciding on stain colors and other decisions. We are VERY happy!

It was disappointing to be honest. Everything was going pretty well it seemed throughout. There was good communication beforehand. They did a nice job taping up the rest of the house but the final results show a very distinctive (not in a good way) perpendicular ridges across large swaths of my floor. See pictures to see what I’m talking about. It appears to be from an unbalanced sander from what I could tell. When I brought it up to Zoltan he said he thought it was from an imbalance in the su flooring but my house is less than 20 years old and is built by a solid home builder. He said he was going to stop by to take a look but never did. At this point, I don’t think that we would go back and have them fix the issue- it takes too much effort moving things around and it’s been a month since we had the floors done. Would have appreciated some sort of partial refund of some sort to acknowledge that the work was not up to snuff.

Floor is exceptionally smooth, furniture quality. He recommended a stain color and it couldn’t be better, matches cabinetry great.

I could not be happier with the work performed by Zoltan @ Cleveland Hardwood Flooring. The hardwood floors in my '60s ranch were severely damaged by 9 cats that the previous owner had in the house. There were ugly black spots and areas in each room where the cats peed on the floor. Zoltan and his crew were able to refinish the floors in a way that a mid-tone brown stain totally covered the damage. I couldn't be happier about the outcome! Also, they repaired a broken plank on the wood stairs going down to the basement and refinished and re-stained those as well. THANK YOU, Cleveland Hardwood Flooring for a great job done! It's not easy to find honest, hard working people these days, who are accessible, show up when they promised and do a great job! Luckily Zoltan is one of those people. The work was finished over 3 days, and it was for a reasonable price.
