"We used John previously and were extremely pleased with the quality of his work. We referred him to 3 other family members who were equally happy with the outcome of their projects. I would recommend Garrity Painting without a moments hesitation and be confident that their work will always be top quality."

"We added a "screened-in" porch as part of an addition.  Our contractor suggested single panes of glass and screens, which depending on the season could be installed, removed, and stored.  These single panes would have been too large for us to handle. We would have had to hire someone to install and remove them.  George Minnello and NCE had previously installed new storm doors for us, so we asked him to come out and look over our situation.
George recommended a custom-built screen/window combination.  This consisted of two screens and panes in each opening on tracks.  Both the screens and panes are removable, and can be removed and installed without assistance.  He brought a sample, and we ordered the windows.
The installation took several hours.  These windows and screens suited our needs perfectly and have given us great service for two years."

"Bob was easy to get ahold of by telephone.  He called back and we set up an appointment to look at the necessary work.  Bob was very helpful with suggestions on how the work should be correctly done and why certain procedures would help with the longevity of the repairs, (new masonery caps on chimneys, pointing repairs).  The work went quickly and thourghly.
Bob,s work was excellent and I would highly reccomend him.

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

The main purpose of a gazebo is to provide a covered space for people to gather comfortably. They’re an excellent place for summertime get-togethers because the roof protects you and your guests from the sun. However, gazebos can also serve as a design feature, adding a bit of charm to a backyard or garden.

Porticos last 25 to 60 years, depending on the material used. A portico’s roof typically matches the roof of the rest of the home and can be replaced simultaneously. Portico columns have a similar life span if properly maintained and regularly sealed. In some areas, harsh weather and extreme temperatures may cause a portico to wear more quickly.

The average cost to build or install a gazebo is around $5,700, with prices typically ranging from $3,000 to $10,000. The final cost depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. For example, square gazebos and those made from metal can be more expensive, while brick is a more affordable material. Adding custom features like built-in seating or lighting will also increase the price. You can potentially save money by purchasing a prefabricated kit or performing some of the labor yourself.

The final price depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. Material choice is a significant cost driver; for example, brick is often more affordable, while metal can be one of the more expensive options. Square-shaped gazebos can also be more expensive to build. Custom features, such as built-in seating or lighting, will increase the total price. You may be able to save money by purchasing a prefabricated gazebo kit or performing some of the labor yourself.

Fascia and soffits differ in their location and design, but fascia vents are the most popular alternative to soffits. These are a bit more hidden than soffits, but depending on the structure of your roof, they can cost more to install and maintain. They are also installed around the entire roof, whereas soffits can be placed only where you need them or, if the aesthetics bother you, somewhere out of sight.
