"Angel and his crew completely re-made our entire backyard. What was previously a mud pit was turned into a beautiful paved patio with a stunning fire pit and seating wall, and brand new sodsurrounded by two types of new fences. In addition they trimmed up our large tree to allow light to the new sod. Angel was very responsive via text (my preferred communication method). He provided me with samples, pictures, ideas, etc throughout the process. His crew arrived early every day that weather permitted (before 9am) and they didn’t stop until 5 or 6pm. They always made sure that they had their things put away each night so as to not leave a mess. He was also very flexible with me as we changed the design mid project. "My wife and I recently had Ventura Brothers Landscaping do some landscaping work at our house (removal of 6 boxwood bushes, grinding an existing tree stump, removing and grading an existing portion of the mulch bed area, and reforming the new mulch bed area). Jose was easy to get a hold off and scheduled a time for an estimate later that week. After meeting with him and explaining what we needed done, we scheduled with Jose to have the work done a week later. Jose and his family showed up on time, when expected, and worked very diligently in getting the job done. My wife and I were very pleased with their work. "Our pond is at least 20 years old, and had never been professionally serviced or maintained. Jake got back to me very quickly after I first contacted him. He came out a day or two later to take a look at the pond, then submitted three alternative plans to renovate it, starting with a simple cleaning, progressing through the addition of a new pump and filter system, and ending with a complete job including landscaping. We chose the middle option. The first date set for the work had to be cancelled because of the weather, but Jake and the crew arrived on the next date and completed the work in about 6 hours. They put the goldfish in a large tank while they drained the pond, and were pretty careful not to step on the perennials that were just emerging from the ground. It was a very messy job since the pond had never been drained before and was very dirty. Jake came back a few weeks later to plant some of our water lilies, adding one of his own that he brought with him. The pond is completely transformed--clear water, happy fish and plants that we can actually see, and a new pump and filter that do a much more efficient job and are much easier for us to care for."

"Meet with Alan and told him that I wanted to start over with my landscaping.  The only ideas I had were to removed 3 trees that had grown too close to the house and rebuild the retaining wall in front of the house.  Everything else was up to Alan.  He took measurements of my property and told me he would be back in touch with me in a week with a design.  He completed the design in a week and we met to discuss his plan.  The plan had a drawing of my lot, where plants would be placed, a description (with color photo) of each plant, and an itemized cost list..  I told him what I liked and didn't and he went back to revise the plan.  I agreed to the revisions and he scheduled me for late April early May.  About a week before work was to start, I told Alan that I was unsure about the retaining wall design.  He revised the plan again and suggested that I visit a stone supplier to view my options.  After the visit, I decided to go back to the original design.   
Unlike other landscape companies that have 8-10 people on your property, tripping over themselves, Rochell had an on-site manager and never more than 3 people on the job.  It took a couple of days to removed all the old stuff.  The retaining wall took about 3 days to complete, and about a week to re-cut the beds, trim the current shrubs, plant new stuff, and lay new mulch.  By not having an army of people of people on-site, I think there was a greater attention to detail which led to a "crisper" look when the job was finished.  Several neighbors have stopped by to commented on how good the new landscaping looks.
