"Extremely well. The wall looks great and we are very pleased with the final result. Our neighbors loved our new wall and commented on how well it was built. The patio bricks are all square and level. The contour looks great. They had to cut many of the patio bricks because the wall has several curves. They dug down and put a gravel foundation under the wall. For the spring clean-up they trenched around and weeded all of our mulch beds and trimmed all of our shrubbery. They then re-mulched all of our beds. They cleaned up all residue before they finished. We are very pleased with the overall look of our landscaping. I would highly recommend them. Their prices were very fair and their work was excellent and timely. They are coming back to trim a tree and then we will have them back next spring for clean-up."

"My wife and I recently had Ventura Brothers Landscaping do some landscaping work at our house (removal of 6 boxwood bushes, grinding an existing tree stump, removing and grading an existing portion of the mulch bed area, and reforming the new mulch bed area). Jose was easy to get a hold off and scheduled a time for an estimate later that week. After meeting with him and explaining what we needed done, we scheduled with Jose to have the work done a week later. Jose and his family showed up on time, when expected, and worked very diligently in getting the job done. My wife and I were very pleased with their work. Afterwards, we discussed with Jose possible additional landscaping work to be done at our house in the future. We will definitely use Ventura Brothers Landscaping again at that time."

Not only did they arrive early, they ran electric lines, installed canless ceiling lights & outlets, then applied drywall & mud to fix the holes, cleaned up everything, and even mopped the floor. "I met with the owner Micah Dean on a Friday we talked through all the yard issues. He listened  understood exactly what I wanted done.  He said the entire job could be completed in five days.  Although it rained on one of the scheduled work days, they still completed the job on time.   There were several different crews working from fencing to landscaping and they were all very professional and  responsive as the job progressed.  After some of the large bushes were torn out from between the houses I asked if an 8' shrub (after the fact and 3 days into the project) could be placed in the side yard to provide some privacy right at the kitchen door.  The next day... there it was!   When the project was completed I could not believe the transformation.  Micah and his crew really enjoy what they do, and customer satisfaction is important to them.  This is reflected in the quality of their work.  
As a side note, I also had a very large limb that had fallen and was hanging on the power line (the week before I contracted with Dean Landscaping) from my neighbor's tree.  Micah had arranged to have it hauled away, since it had taken the power company so long to respond.  The power company did finally arrive and removed it, however it was very reassuring to know I had a backup plan.  
I couldn't be more pleased with Dean Landscaping.  I will definitely be calling them in the future to have additional work done.

"This was a complicated job. We had a small pond installed by a local landscaper about 2 years ago, which turned out to be a nightmare--poorly conceived and leaking so much that we had to refill it daily. We wanted a pond expert to assess what could be done. Jake was extremely knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem, and offered two options to address the situation: repair the existing pond or tear it out and start from scratch. We decided to go with the second (more expensive) option in order to achieve a better functioning, easier-to-maintain pond. Jake listened to what we wanted and worked with us on the design, even making a significant change at our request mid-installation. Because of the complication of this job (removing existing pond, relocating pavers, and working around irrigation system), we hit a few snags along the way, but Jake was great in resolving all issues that arose and the final product is outstanding. We love our pond and would recommend Jake highly."
