"I just want to offer an update to my initial review.  It's been a little over a year since my roof has been replaced.  We've had at least six major thunder storms come through the area (two of which resulted in tornadoes within 3 miles of our home) and been through a brutal winter with sub zero temps and major snow fall.  The roof is still intact, all shingles in place and no leaks!  Leaking had been a huge problem in the past in the garage when we had driving rain with the old roof & ridge vent installed by the builder .  The architectural shingles Ed installed still look great and their heavier weight and design have kept them from flipping during heavy winds and storms.  Overall, I just want to say again what a professional job Ed Popil and his crew did on this job.  I would gladly use them again and refer them to anyone considering a roof replacement or repair.

"I don't believe in writing contractor reviews right after job is complete. Had GIG do a complete tear-off and re-roof in July of 2015. It's now two years later and zero problems. The crew showed up when scheduled and was friendly and professional. They worked their butts off in 90 degree heat to complete the job in one day.. They used the proper underlayment materials, drip cap and ridge vent, the flashing was done correctly and the shingles are laid straight. Had them replace the gutters and downspouts also. The new gutters are mounted and pitched correctly. Everything was left neat and clean when the job was completed and the price was reasonable. The new roof and gutters look great and the Gridiron Guys were a pleasure to work with. I would definitely use them again."
