"I had attempted to remove the old faucet and had reached a point where I did not have the tools necessary to complete the task. Provider cut off rusted pipe and installed new faucet I provided. Explained process. Cleaned up after service. Honored Angie's List offer. Only additional cost was for replacement shut-off valves needed due to the type of faucet I had selected and even that was quite reasonable. Great service. I will use this provider for other work I require.

"First I had a bathroom issue from a water problem.  Gary's estimate made the most sense to me and he took extra time to explain what needed to be done.  I had an idea of what I wanted and he took it from there.  We needed to reroute the plumbing to an inside wall. He explained it all to me in a way I understood and did a great job! He also installed the new dry wall ceiling in the bathroom below.  I managed to segue him into the kitchen! My 1965 kitchen was in dire need of a makeover.  He turned it into a 2014 kitchen.  The first day demo was so quick and efficient, I was in shock!  I told Gary what I wanted and he helped me make decisions along the way. I had no experience with new construction and had no idea what to expect. Gary showed me my options and explained how he was going to make my decisions happen.  He built the countertop himself including trim, installed a LOT of cabinets, installed appliances (rerouted plumbing for the refrigerator), rerouted electrical to move old wiring and lighting placement with new placement and lighting fixtures. He worked the plumbing for a new disposal and replaced all the outlets and switches.  He installed all the flooring and was VERY knowledgeable in helping me pick the flooring for my needs. He has great taste in colors too. :-)  I asked his advice on different issues and he was more than willing to help me.  He was patient and understanding.  So in all, Gary can and did do it all.
My kitchen looks incredible!  He was super nice to my dog Jim who I think will miss him more than I will. :-) I have many other jobs in this house and will call Gary first. He is my "go to" guy and look forward to working with him in the future.

"

My house was completely in disarray because we were having flooring put in and our carpeting pulled up, so we had to box everything up so furniture could be moved.  We had contracted Home Depot to do the install, but when they came and removed the carpeting they discovered the floor was not level so they would not do the install until we found someone to level the floors. I got online and started contacting contractors to see if someone could come out and do the work for us.  Xclusive Home responded immediately and came out the next day. When they saw what a mess we were dealing with, they put some other jobs on hold to take care of us quickly.  The leveling of the floor turned out to be the least of our problems when they discovered two areas in the house where the deck and porch were added, had water damage.  They immediately took action to fix that problem which meant cutting into the dry wall, adding more studs, installing the flashing (which should have been installed when the previous owners added the deck), tearing out all the rotted wood and then putting everything back together.  While they were taking care of that, they found that the spouting was not large enough to handle the amount of water that was running off the house.  They also replaced the spouting for us and added a lager gutter. While doing the work, we discovered the sump pump wasn't working so they replaced that for us.  We also asked that they install the floor for us, which they gladly did.

They arrived every morning early and worked throughout the day every day until late in the evening.  They were very professional and wonderful to work with.  Six straight days later, we have a beautiful floor (that is totally level), new floor boards, new drywall, new gutter, new sump pump, walls that look like new, and we have our house in order.  They also cleaned up after themselves so we didn't have to deal with any cleanup.

We will use them again and already are talking about some projects we want them to come back and do. Their skills are pronominal and I don't think there is anything they can't do!  They turned a frustrating situation into a wonderful experience!

"My husband and I knew absolutely nothing about remodeling a kitchen when we started gathering recommendations for contractors.  Well, that's not true.  We knew of their general reputation, which was that they were highly unreliable, and given to trying to extract more money from you than was agreed upon.  Not a good preconception.  Let me begin this review by saying that I know with certainty from my experience with Pat and Dale that they are completely ethical, responsible professionals.
Greystone was one of 3 contractors we interviewed for our remodel.  They came in with the lowest bid.  We were immediately impressed with Pat and Dale's professional and open demeanor.  It was made clear that we could call with any questions both prior to the job start and throughout the building.  Dale is the architect half of the team, with Pat providing interior decorator services.  We were surprised that Dale showed up on the first day of the job, and found out quickly that he came on site every day.  We were delighted to learn that he was also a co-owner of the company!  How often do you have an owner overseeing the work you're paying for?  He is also a perfectionist, which we didn't mind at all.
Dale and his employees showed up every day around 9:00AM and left at 5-6:00PM.  If they didn't show up for work one day it was because they were waiting on items they hadn't yet received (cabinetry, pendants, flooring, etc.).  We were always told if there would be a no work day (which happened rarely). The sub-contractors Dale and Pam hired were, to a man, responsible, hard-working men. And they all cleaned up after themselves, treating our home and garage as if it were their own.  They finished our medium sized kitchen in a mind-boggling 4 weeks!
Both Pam and Dale had terrific ideas for our kitchen.  Pam makes the sometimes arduous, often anxiety producing shopping of parcels for your kitchen (granite, cabinetry, sink, flooring, etc.) as pain free as possible.  And for those customers who don't have a lot of confidence in esthetic matters, she is a terrific resource who can help you get the beautiful kitchen you want, but weren't able to visualize.
Both my husband and myself highly recommend without reservation Greystone Interiors.  Peace of mind is worth a lot in my opinion.  And that is what you'll enjoy if you hire these proficient, highest standard seeking professionals."

"This project went so well, I am ready to sign-on with JRush to redo my 2nd bath immediately!
From initial consult, Justin and his team were receptive to my ideas, provided guidance and suggestions, but proved they were 'in it' to make me happy!
Whenever possible, they did the materials pickup, so I didn't have to worry about lugging a vanity or shower doors or marble vanity top in my own car!  They helped me to understand what I needed to choose and how much I needed (tile, paint, etc) and then they dug right in!
The did the demolition - hauled away all the detritus except what could be donated to Habitat for Humanity - and there was little evidence when I got home from work that they'd even been there!  they cleaned up after themselves so well that some days I really didn't know whether they'd come or not, until I checked the progress in the bathroom.
We experienced a slight delay due to my late selection of the sink and countertop, but as soon as these items were available, JRush was in my home and working.
Overall, the project took 2 weeks, start to finish, but it was the fastest and easiest 2 weeks you could imagine!  I would - and have already - highly recommend this group for projects of this scale, especially where tile work is involved because the attention to detail in my shower - wall tile, floor tile, decorative tiled niches - and my floor tile - is art-work quality.
So, in a nutshell, this group did
demolition
plumbing
tile work

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can use flexible pipe for a sink drain. Flexible pipes can make it easier to fit sink plumbing together with less measuring and fewer cuts. However, corrugated flexible pipe can trap hair, grease, and food particles in the folds and cause foul odors and eventually build up enough to clog the drain. Smooth pipes are recommended for sink drains and plumbing.

Due to the exposed plumbing, pedestal sinks are more challenging to install than traditional closed vanities. Pedestal sinks may also require additional floor and wall support or demolition. However, if you have the correct plumbing in place, then installing a pedestal sink is pretty straightforward and can be completed in a day. However, it’s best to hire a professional sink installer to ensure it’s done correctly.

To avoid the high costs of plumbing repairs, watch for potential problems. If you see any signs of a leak, consider hiring a professional plumber. A pro can assess the level of damage and make the appropriate repairs.

Plumbing leaks are always better tackled immediately. You can also fix any minor repairs yourself or ask the plumber if they can use less expensive materials.

Silicone caulk—despite having some adhesive properties—is not the primary thing that holds your sink in place. Rather, it seals the gaps around the sink to prevent water from leaking and causing issues with mold and corrosion. Most sinks are secured by clips, though some sinks are secured with two-part epoxy or brackets.

Depending on the issue and materials, costs range from $150 to $500.
