"We got several quotes from local HVAC providers / installers. We felt the most comfortable with the salesman from Extreme One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning and I got the best price from them which also included a 2-year membership in their Comfort Club (Spring and Fall service visits to check and tune-up my system). We were an all electric home until a couple of years ago when we added natural gas. When our 16-year old Trane heat pump developed problems this proved an ideal time to switch over to a gas furnace and air conditioner. We stayed with Trane as we were happy with our Trane heat pump. Because we have some space constraints and limitations for our new system, Extreme sent out their system designer the day before the installation to develop a creative solution that met our requirements and efficiently maximized the space with which they had to work with minimum impacts to us. The day of the install they arrived on time, were friendly but very professional and treated our home as if it was their own. They also took the time to answer my questions while the worked. Since it was bitter cold that day, they needed to be in and out all day, and we were without a heating system most of the day, they brought a heavy duty space heater to keep us from freezing until they were done. At completion, showed us how to use the new system including the new programmable thermostat, changing filters, etc. and they cleaned up everything and left our home better than they found it. They then submitted all of our rebate paperwork to Vectren and DP&L for us. We were very impressed with the whole process of buying and installing a complete new HVAC system. "We have been customers of Watkins for a few years, but this is our first review on them. They are super friendly and do great work. A few years ago, they were able to help us get us a new furnace in a timely fashion when ours died in the middle of winter (it was really old). At that time, they noticed the AC was not installed correctly and not up to code (previous owner). We also knew the water heater was next to go, but were able to hold off until this year. Our new AC had a part go bad this year, but they were able to come out quick and repair pretty quick (and no charge). We are very pleased with all the work and highly recommend them!"

"Mike Burkhardt is a Wonderful technician. He also works on our air conditioner in the Spring. We have had him here 3 or 4 times now after our first technician moved away. Mike pays attention. Is Extremely thorough and while he will talk if you talk to him, he doesn't talk while he is working to make sure that everything is checked. If something doesn't click as in last furnace check last year the old product was replaced. He left the empty box here to make sure this year that it was still working (it was). He left the small box incase it was getting bad and he would have to returned it. It was in excellent condition. Small things like that make a huge difference. He called before he got here to let me know approximately what time he was arriving. My son, showed up before he left. He came directly here rather than to his own home. He was glad to see him. He, too appreciates his work."

"I needed an entire new house system with all duct work installed and lines and power. I had window units for air and baseboard for heat. Greg's team was great to work with. Always on time and very professional. Did a great job on the install and I love the system Can't even hear it run. They worked and listened to me on ideas I had on what I wanted to have done, and we worked well together to come to a final solution that worked, as some of the ducts was hard to install. "I was advised by another HVAC service company that I needed to replace the condenser motor and fan on our cooling system. I was provided an estimate in excess of $1,000. So, I opted for a second opinion. I contacted Kirk Wiesman at New Climate. Kirk evaluated the unit that same day and stated that it is difficult to predict when the motor may fail. With young children in my home, I prefer to error on the side of caution and wanted the motor replaced if I could afford to do so. Kirk stated that the fan was fine and did not need to be replaced. As promised, Kirk provided later that same day an estimate to replace the motor ($393). We agreed upon a date and time for the work to be completed. Kirk showed up on time and installed a direct replacement (original equipment) motor.  Kirk explained the charges, which matched the estimate.  Kirk also explained the warranty on this work."
