This is the most unprofessional contractor I’ve ever worked with and would not recommend to anyone. Requesting 75% upfront is always a red flag however he was referred to me by someone who had done work at my house before so I felt comfortable. He basically took my money and then left me hanging for months with no work done. I would rearrange my schedule only to have them not show up or move my install out again and again. Tried to get me to pay the remaining balance even though there was no plumbing, no trimwork, the drywall was not completed or painted. In the end the job was not done 100% and definitely not done 100% to my satisfaction. To make matters worse they left my house a mess. Drywall mud, adhesive and grout all over my cabinets and my floor. NOT a good outfit.
Response from Queen City Transformations
"Although we were behind schedule . We showed up once carpenter was done completely your countertop and installnin one day it fantastic and had the plumber back within 2 days and had your sink hooked up trim put in place and paint touched. We dobapologise for the delay as everyone these days can get behind schedule. We are sorry tou feel this way but hope you enjoy your new countertops for years to come !"

Beware! Please do not believe these 5-star reviews from Clint's friends/family and be duped as we were after calling his "references." One of the most untrustworthy contractors we have worked with. Our renovation included flooring, bathroom tiling, and kitchen renovation with countertops. It was a 8-12 week project that is languishing for over 12 MONTHS and is still not complete. This required us to relocate for 7 months. Clint is a dirty contractor who subcontracts out 95% of the work and robs Peter to pay Paul. A short list of issues we experienced is below. This is NOT exhaustive of the issues, but we want to be very clear with discerning customers how poorly this has been handled. -flooring refinished 3 total times due to faulty staining and finishing (taking 15 years out of our hard woods), -tiling installed wrong twice, -removed an air return duct without replacing any returns to an entire floor of the house (despite discussing otherwise), -left multiple projects incomplete or damaged including ductwork and plumbing (requiring reopening and closing drywall twice), -four reorders of kitchen cabinets via a subcontractor who went MIA for 4 months, -permanent damage to kitchen shelving, -brand new appliances damaged, -brand new bidet & garbage disposal thrown away, -personal items used (or missing) in construction totaling hundreds of dollars, -knocked down and rebuilt wall due to mis-measurement, -front door ruined, -back deck Trex scratched permanently. We have hired additional contractors to complete a shoddy, unfinished job. We are not alone in this experience with Clint and Tara and Queen City Transformation and encourage discerning customers to look elsewhere.

Lots of dishonest communication on their end once they had our money. Left job 1/2 done and refused to communicate. Excuse after excuse was given why our job was not getting done in a timely manner or why they had t acquired the slabs we had paid for.
