"As I requested they provided the cost for drain snaking upfront. A simple procedure that most others would not quote. (They wanted to do a separate "diagnostic" visit and additional fee. The work was fine. The technician very competent and concientious about keeping things clean. The only rub, they wanted $179 to put the toilet back in (way out of line). I think they could have told me. Nevertheless, I drove to home depot for a wax ring and had it done in 10 minutes. Overall, a 4 oout of 5. If they charged a more reasonable rate for reseating the toilet i would have had them do it, and would have rated a 5."

I wanted to get a second opinion to see if the first company was trying to overcharge me. I called Makeithot and had them come out to see what they thought. They checked to make sure all my lines were properly sealed and found that the leak was coming from the gas control valve but did not need replaced. They only charged me $250. Makeithot’s honesty saved me around $500! They were very professional and I thought them wearing the shoe covers while in the house was a nice touch too. I would definitely recommend them for all your hot water heating needs!"

However, he found that the root cause of the water leaking issue was the main shut-off valve was located outside somewhere in the devil stip. Therefore, the City of Akron was responsible. Since was found that it was actually Akron's property and responsibility it ignited a whole different issue while the pipes were still leaking. This issue had taken a different course of direction and problems. It was known that the City of Akron had to shut off replaced their old and faulty valve system. This a life of its own. In any event, Matt the technician handled this three-day issue with the utmost of expertise and professionalism. I could not have asked for a more friendly and confident plumber than Matt. He resolved the ongoing water leaking issue without hesitation. He wasn't satisfied until the job was completely done! Period.
