Every aspect of our experience from the first call to the end of the service was extremely professional and timely. Gene even found another leak under our sink and replaced the gasket for us. We plan on having Schaefer Plumbing back to do more work in the very near future. A job very well done!

I called and was desperate as the toilet wouldn't even flush. They were very nice on the phone, and got someone to me the same day. He got the job done, got the toilet working again, and cleaned out a few extra drains. I was very pleased. He did leave a mess in his wake, in the master bathroom. That was my biggest complaint. Still i was relieved to be operational again. Have used them before, different repairman, and it went very well, without all the mess.

I had a very good experience with them. They did have to comeback one time to stick something but he came back with no extra charge and it has been fine since then.

Replaced a new Rheem 40 gallon Liquid Propane power vent water heater and hauled away. This is a more expensive tank than a natural gas unit.They explained and answered my questions , as well as doing a very nice job. I have used Gene and Paul for many years and I always get impeccable service. I don't think twice on hiring them.

My gas was shut off due to a leak. I called late in the evening and left a message. I received a call back within a few min. They said they would fit me in the schedule in the morning. They called around 8:30 and were at my house by 9am. They found and repaired 7 leaks in my basement. Service was quick, clean, and reasonably priced.

Technically it was not a complex job. It was more about how to run the new PEX pipe because the HVAC plenum was in the way now.
Daniel (plumber) was excellent and professional. An absolute expert in his field. I had a LOT of other questions for the rest of the house and he patiently went through how to work through those problems.
The fittings the he and his apprentice put on were absolutely perfect.
Each time these plumbers from Schaefer come over they act as if they are working on their own homes. They take the time to assess the job and do it "the right way".
I appreciate them never cutting corners. I see what they do, and look at the job while its being done.
They covered the carpet under where they needed to run the new piping.
They cleaned up to the point one could not see that they were there at all. Obviously they know the Boy Scout motto "Leave no trace".
They seemed to work as quickly as they could. They paused only to exchange communication about the job.
I think they will serve you as well as they serve my house.
We've used them in the past and will have them out on Dec 30, 2013 to replace the Vent pipe in the Attic and to clean up the original pipes that were run when the house was built. The original pipes to the Back bath (3 fixtures), laundry (2 fixtures), and Kitchen (2 fixtures) is only half inch pipe. They will run new three-quarter inch piping so that those three places can receive good water pressure again.
If you need a good plumbing company, give these guys a shot. They will not disappoint you.

We called yesterday to see if someone could come out the next morning and clean out two drains - one in the kitchen and one in the bedroom bathroom. We got FAST service. Gene came out and performed both drain cleanings quickly and efficiently. He even took the time to explain how to prevent the drains from backing up in the future. We feel the cost was fair and service was excelle

They were extremely thorough and found several internal leaks also.
In one place they found a pipe that was only screwed in about two threads worth.
There was a gas line to the wood burning fireplace that we never used. The valve at the fireplace was leaking, they found. UGH. I told them to cap it back at the supply line and disconnect it.
So, I am very happy that the outside was leaking because, with Schaeffer plumbing's thoroughness, I know my Gas lines are all safe.
We use them regularly for our plumbing needs too.
I highly recommend them and will use them again.

Gene came out and took care of the small leak quickly and efficiently. In addition, he took the time to walk me through the septic system, cistern (for outdoor water), as well as the county water and propane lines. He provided many details on maintenance and upkeep to prevent future problems. I appreciated his thorough knowledge and concern for keeping the various components in good working order in a safe and cost effective manner. I have additional work to do in the future and will not hesitate to call Schaefer Plumbing in the future.

The serviceman came to the house a day after being called. The work was done well. He did a good job cleaning up. HIs work was done in less than a half-hour.

After I placed the order, they were out 5 days later to install the kitchen sink/faucet assembly and toilet. The new sink required a larger opening than the old one. The plumber consulted with an associate by phone since he didn't have a saw. The other fellow showed up to cut out the opening the best way to fit the new sink. The sink and toilet were installed in about four hours. The old sink was badly rusted underneath and required some time to remove. The clamps under the sink had corroded and allowed water to seep under the rim. This caused some of the wood to rot. But they were able to remove the rotted wood when they recut the opening to fit the new sink. I am pleased with the new sink and faucet, sprayer, and soap dispenser assembly. The old toilet required two flushes to empty, that's 10 gallons of water. The new one is a low flush Gerber that requires one 1.6 gallon flush. A significant water savings. I will be replacing the second toilet in this house soon as well. They not only replaced the toilet and sink assembly but replaced the shut off valve on the toilet and installed new shut off valves under the sink as well. They were very thorough in that they checked the shutoff valves in the basement to make sure they weren't leaking. one required tightening of the bushing nut to fix a leak. The cost of the parts and labor was $1400. They were very professional and I am pleased with the results.

Everything turned out excellent. They do great work. We have used them for all of our plumbing needs over the past 3 years.

They added different things I requested. No problems with anything they did. They added a handle to the shower for my Dad who is 93, they had to cut through a wall. They cleaned up and were efficient.

VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. I KNOW THE PRICE WAS VERY GOOD, SINCE I HAD OBTAINED A MUCH HIGHER ESTIMATE FOR THIS WORK FROM ANOTHER COMPANY. EXCELLENT WORK FROM WHAT I CAN SEE AT THIS POINT IN TIME. I HAVE SOME MORE PLUMBING WORK THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE AND I WILL DEFINITELY HIRE THEM AGAIN.
