Plunger Plumber

I contacted and hired the Plunger Plumber because of uncontrollable leaking piping system. When Matt Technician arrived, he found that the water valve was faulty and needed to be replaced. However, he found that the root cause of the water leaking issue was the main shut-off valve was located outside somewhere in the devil stip. Therefore, the City of Akron was responsible. Since was found that it was actually Akron's property and responsibility it ignited a whole different issue while the pipes were still leaking. This issue had taken a different course of direction and problems. It was known that the City of Akron had to shut off replaced their old and faulty valve system. This a life of its own. In any event, Matt the technician handled this three-day issue with the utmost of expertise and professionalism. I could not have asked for a more friendly and confident plumber than Matt. He resolved the ongoing water leaking issue without hesitation. He wasn't satisfied until the job was completely done! Period. There are still good, honest and competent people out there, I was very fortunate to have had Matt during my distressful time of need. Big thanks Matt you're the best.

I booked this company to clear the drain in my driveway which was probably priced higher than I should have paid but the initial guy that came out was really nice and I just decided to go ahead and have him do it. (I give this guy specifically full stars, no issue with him whatsoever.) To do the work, a second guy had to come out. I had mentioned that we get a bit of moisture through the basement walls during heavy rain. They checked out the basement and then quoted me for exterior waterproofing. The second guy quoted $34,000 for this work, gave me a whole spiel about how important it is that I get this done and they can do it next week. I said thanks but I cannot agree to that today and I would call them if I would like to move forward. He did NOT want to take no for an answer. He tired offering to take off the amount that i had just paid for the drain if I signed today. I asked if I could keep that offer through the end of the week and he said no, it was a 1 time offer for today only. I told him if I decide to do it, I would call him back by the end of the day then but again, I would not be agreeing to $34,000 right now. After they left, they called my partner who had made the appointment but was not home when they came to tell him they might be able to bring the price down a bit. Their sales tactics were extremely predatory and if I didn't know better, there is a good chance I would have fallen for it. Since then, I have already been able to get 2 quotes, both of which told me they would be happy to do the work but my house does not need it. I have red brick foundation that naturally sweats. It had been painted before we bought the house. It's apparently not supposed to be painted and if it hadn't been I probably would not have even noticed the moisture because it would have evaporated. Both of these companies told me to scrape the paint off, clean my gutters, and get some mortar cement from Lowes and repair the mortar myself. I asked out of curiosity, what they would charge me to do the full exterior waterproofing and both quoted between $20K-30K. So maybe try booking with NorthEast Plumbing or B-Dry Systems instead. They will not try to unnecessarily strong arm you into crippling debt.

We had a bad leak under our sink and Plunger Plumber was here 30 minutes after we called. Brendan was friendly and did a great job fixing the leak. Saved our cabinets for sure. We’ve used Plunger Plumber before and we will use again!

WOMEN BEWARE I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD MY BATHROOM SINK WAS LEAKING AND I NEEDED SEVERAL ITEMS REPLACED THE AHOLE TRIED TO CHARGE ME OVER 1,000 DOLLARS HAD HIM LEAVE HAD FERMEN LORENZO WHO OWNS HIS OWN BUSINESS CHARGED ME 88 DOLLARS FOR PARTS AND 200 DOLLARS FOR LABOR AND NOTICED THE TOILET RUNNING! ! I ONLY CALLED PLUNGER PLUMBING BECAUSE THEY CAME UP WITH 5 STARS I HOPE THEY GO OUT OF BUSINESS FOR BEING SUCH A GREEDY B******!

Estimate was outrageous . Found a local plumber to do the same work for 1/3 the price

I have now waited four hours for Plunger Plumber to show up to my house over two separate occasions. The first time, the company was supposed to arrive between 1-3pm. I received a call at 2pm, pausing the arrival back to 2-4pm. I then received a call at 5:15pm - we can’t come. But, we’ll be there between 1-3pm on Tuesday. Tuesday rolls around and I receive a call from Plunger Plumber saying *gasp* they are going to miss the window…again. Ok, fine - when can you show up? I’ll move my schedule around. We can be there from 5-7pm. Fine. Then I receive a call at 6:55pm - we can’t show up. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. If I could rate this company zero stars, I would.

Aris was amazing!! He’s been working on the plumbing in our old bathroom for us and even with all the hiccups that come with an old house he always got it done! Super efficient and nice. Highly recommend!! 😊

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better job. The new piping is straight, clean, and installed with an incredibly small footprint. Which is great because I can hide the whole house filter in a cupboard. I will definitely be calling them again.

Aris Almaliotis was very knowledgeable, professional, helpful and most importantly honest!!! His work was immaculate. He could have robbed me blind with “fixes” that wouldn’t have worked. He went above and beyond to evaluate everything. Can’t say enough how please I was with him and the work. Highly recommend him!!!
